Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (Barcelona) After completed the training in General Surgery in 2003, I attended a program of Surgical training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and in UCL Ear Institute (Gray's Inn Road, London) in 2005. Received a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine in Barcelona, and a Certificate of Competence in Lasers in UK in 2006. I completed my PhD in Medical School of Aristotle University in 2009 and my specialty at AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki in 2011. I am proud to be a 2nd generation of ENT Surgeons and the son of Anestis Psifidis, Professor of Otolaryngology who inspired me to be a Surgeon. I am working as an ENT Surgeon with a special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery and Lasers in Cosmetic Surgery and in Οtolaryngology (ENT), including Paediatric Otolaryngology. I have developed a special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery, non-Surgical Cosmetic and Laser surgical procedures. I was one of the first Surgeons to introduce the revolutionary Smartlipo laser, from Italy into the UK, in 2006 and the first Surgeon to introduce it in Greece, in Thessaloniki in earlies 2008. From 2006-2008 I worked as a Medical Director in Ultralase Medical Aesthetics Clinic, Beyond Spa at Harvey Nichols, and as Smartlipo and Cosmetic Surgeon at EF Medispa and Dr Rita Rakus Clinic. I continued to work as Smartlipo Surgeon at Dr Rita Rakus Clinic until end of 2009. Developed my own advanced Laser techniques in various aspects of laser surgery including Smartlipo with suction, which has now been adopted by numerous plastic surgeons and cosmetic doctors. Smartlipo is the world's first aesthetic Laser with minimally invasive surgical approach to treat cellulite beneath the surface of the skin for the long-term reduction of cellulite. Smartlipo laser offers also a permanent treatment for excessive auxiliary sweating (hyperhidrosis). SmartLifting is a new minimal invasive technique of face and neck linfting using the Smartlipo Triplex Laser, under local anasthetic. My fundamental philosophy in Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic and Laser treatments is to enhance but to preserve our natural beauty.
