This lovely little beverage is made of pineapples skins, raw sugar, water, hibiscus, ginger & a few days of fermentation. And is bringing about a whole rant…::
How often do we as humanity just toss away something to become toxic in a landfill, or even without second thought into the organics.
People are complaining about the cost of food, the cost of garbage removal, and complaining about so much of our human disrupted food systems.
What if all of our waste had a second life, or better yet became another life by sprouting, fermenting, composting or planted?
Scraps becoming beautiful beverages, instead of buying cheap mass produced alcohol or sodas from a company that is siphoning the water sources and blasting toxic smoke into our air, seeds were planted in the soil or toasted into a crunchy snack, skins into a soup broth or a facial or w/e.
You have been programmed and numbed into the fear of scarcity, the thought of having no time, and born into an unsustainable rat race.
You have the power to use your magical imagination to solve problems to make medicinal potions, to bring so much life into your kitchen.
There is hope in the future, but that hope is the seeds you plant in this very moment.
So what you create may look just like a recycled handmade gift, or a homemade treat, or a little pot of herbs. But you are becoming the solution, you are taking responsibility and you are becoming to take back the power of critical thought.
So go on! Make this world a more beautiful and delicious place ❤️
