¡Ayude a sus hijos a no tener picaduras este verano! Recuerde que los repelentes de insectos con no más del 30 % de DEET son seguros y efectivos para los niños (pero no deben usarse en bebés menores de 2 meses). Otros consejos para picaduras de insectos:

✔️ Evite estar cerca de áreas que atraen insectos voladores, como los botes de basura y charcos con agua estancada.

✔️Vista a su hijo con pantalones largos, camisas largas y livianas y zapatos cerrados cuando sepa que podría estar expuesto a los insectos.

✔️Revise la piel de su hijo después que que haya estado al aire libre si vive en un área donde hay garrapatas.

I created this little rainbow lesson when my son was in preschool and I went and talked to the 3 and 4yo's about why we eat fruits and veggies. I didn't want to give them something that wasn't useful. So I gave them this lesson instead.⁠ They LOVED it.⁠

Our kids are growing up and into a world with so many diet and health messages - and most of them are negative. We can give them useful information in the early years so that as they get older we can add to it and help them navigate a complicated world. ⁠
