This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring a different kind of strength.

At Misión El Faro, we walk alongside mothers whose children are hospitalized. Women who refuse to leave their child’s side, even in the hardest moments. Our Mother’s Shelter exists for them: a place of rest, care, and support during incredibly difficult days.

These moms are the real heroes. Their love is steady. Their courage is relentless. Their presence is everything.

But they shouldn’t have to carry this alone.

BELLIN COLLEGE PT 💪🏻

Day 1: We visited different homes and patients in the village "Esperanza del Mar," providing therapy sessions during the visit.

Day 2: We visited the National Children's Hospital, where we provided physiotherapy training to the nursing staff. It was a very productive morning. Thank you to the hospital for always welcoming us.

Day 3: We visited the National Hospital "Japón" in Puerto Barrios, where, together with the physiotherapy staff, the students provided therapy sessions to different patients throughout the morning.

Day 4: On this day, we held a physiotherapy medical mobile clinic in Livingston. In the afternoon, the physiotherapy students gave a presentation to the staff of El Faro, teaching practical exercises to prevent injuries in our daily work. Therapy sessions were also provided to members of our staff in the afternoon.

Day 5: We visited different homes and patients in the villages of Santa María del Mar and Punta de Palma, delivering food bags and providing therapy to some of them.

Day 6: Physical therapy students from Bellin shared their knowledge with students from "DaVinci University", Puerto Barrios campus.

BELLIN COLLEGE PT 💪🏻
Bellin College Physical Therapy

Day 1: We visited different homes and patients in the village "Esperanza del Mar," providing therapy sessions during the visit.

Day 2: We visited the National Children's Hospital, where we provided physiotherapy training to the nursing staff. It was a very productive morning. Thank you to the hospital for always welcoming us.

Day 3: We visited the National Hospital "Japón" in Puerto Barrios, where, together with the physiotherapy staff, the students provided therapy sessions to different patients throughout the morning.

BELLIN COLLEGE PT 💪🏻
Thank you for this amazing week serving with us.

Día #1: Visitamos diferentes casas y pacientes en la aldea "Esperanza del Mar", durante la visita se realizaron terapias.

Día #2: Visitamos el Hospital Nacional Infantil, en el cual se impartió una capacitación de Fisioterapia al equipo de enfermería, fue una mañana muy bien aprovechada. Gracias al hospital por siempre abrirnos las puertas.

Día #3: Visitamos el Hospital Nacional "Japón" de Puerto Barrios, en donde junto con el staff de Fisioterapia, los estudiantes realizaron terapías durante la mañana a diferentes pacientes.

Día #4: En este día realizamos una Jornada de Fisioterapia en Livingston, por la tarde los estudiantes de Fisioterapia impartieron una charla al personal de El Faro, enseñando ejercicios prácticos para evitar lesiones en lo que realizamos día a día. Por la tarde también se realizaron terapias para miembros d e nuestro Staff.

Día #5: Visitamos diferentes casas y pacientes de las aldeas "Santa María del Mar" y "Punta de Palma", se les entregó bolsa de víveres y con algunos se realizaron terapias.

Día #6: Los estudiantes de Fisioterapia de Bellin compartieron sus conocimientos con estudiantes de la Universidad DaVinci, sede Puerto Barrios.
