Note: 80% of the product is unique piece (handmade) because it is recyclable product, so most of the pieces can not be reproduced exactly because it is a unique art, but they can make something similar with different color and design.
On the other hand I have no web site or products online because I live in the mountains of rural Mayan communities (3 hours from the capital and 7 hours from the Mexican Border) so if I want to send a product from where I live is more expensive the shipment than the real cost of the product.
My main idea is to travel to the United States with the product to a any fairs, Churches, associations so I'm asking for your help to show the fine art of the Maya communities.
The second idea is to open a store in the United States so that there is a existing product and people can buy online and shipping won't be a problem.
The third idea is to be a distributor in stores of handmade stuff.
The most important thing for me is that I just want to help the local economy in rural Mayan communities. I do not invest anything in the product. These people trust me and give me their products on consignment so I'm just doing a favor to show their art in another country like (USA). If I sell a product I'll take 30% for expenses and travel. Therefore my slogan says BEHIND EVERY ITEM THERE IS A STORY. Single mothers stories, stories of single parents, widows stories, stories of domestic violence, etc.
Last year I went to Abilene Tx a fair at a university called ACU were 4 days of fair called SUMMIT and after that I went to a Christian Church they opened doors to me to sell the Maya products. I sent you two pictures of my booth in Abilene (ACU) Tx.
