Shiatsu Massage (Chinese Medicine)

How did all started? How did I learn this technique?

A couple years ago, I had an accident with bus, in which I fractured my right collarbone. Hopefully, it was better than what could have happened worse.
I looked for a therapist to help me recover faster, and met a great specialized massage therapist who learned and practised in China for lots of years. The massage helped me so much that I was able to do Yoga again, to move my arm without pain. I saw and felt the positive effects inmediately.

By chance, this teacher was about to offer a Shiatsu massage course where I was living. So I decided to take it to be able to later, share this medicine to other people.

Any massage, it’s much more than physical. We are working with subtle energy channels in the body, that connect to internal organs and promote balance, blood & O2 flow and vital force: in Shiatsu we focus on the meridians (yin & yang channels throughout the body).

In Shiatsu, we mainly work with acupressure. To release and unblock accumulated tension (physical, mental & emotional). It is a holistic therapy.

Great to feel renewed, recharged and liberated ❤️‍🔥

Traditionally, Shiatsu massage it’s with clothes and on the ground, however in the pictures I combined it with Ayurvedic massage which is with oils.

clarity is received when you go inward, when you check in with yourself

I give you an quick exercise to do when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, sad, angry…

EXERCISE to find peace (5-10 minutes)
find a comfy seated position with the spine straight
bring your hands on your kness
take a moment to close your eyes
bring all the awareness to your breathe,
each inhalation & exalation
be in silence and listen all the sounds that are present
visualize a white light in your third eye chakra (area in between your eyebrows)
breath, thoughts come, just bring the attention back to your breath, your center
stay in the meditation
take deeper breaths to come back
gently open your eyes
connect with gratitude

New and full moons are special moments to bring inner awareness and meditate, to feel the effects and sensations of the moon cycle, of Mother Nature. And to notice how it affects each of us mentally, physically, emotionally and energetically.

It has been proven that moon impacts the circadian rythms, sleep patterns, the menstrual cycle and the hormonal system.

By meditating, you can acknowledge where your mind goes, where you direct your mental energy, which mental stories you decide to believe and mantain. You observe mind patterns, your patterns (either conscious or unconscious) and once you identify them, you have the option to decide whether to transform and liberate yourself.

The thoughts you believe (inner beliefs you hold, limitations), either true or not, will create your subjective reality. You see the world, other people, situations and even yourself from an individual perspective, from your own experiences and growth.
