Accessibility in Motion
A 6-Hour In-Person Workshop with Toni Slaymaker
Not every body moves the same.
Not every pose fits every season.
And forcing it has never made anyone feel safer.
Accessibility in Motion is a two-session, 6-hour in-person workshop led by Toni Slaymaker, multidisciplinary practitioner and Occupational Therapy Assistant with a 500-hour YTT and certifications in Restorative Yoga, Love Your Brain, and Pre & Postnatal Yoga. It’s created for instructors and movers who want to do better by real bodies. Including their own.
This workshop is about options.
About nervous systems.
About meeting the body that shows up, not the one we wish would.
You can expect hands-on support and physical guidance throughout the workshop. All touch is consent-based, optional, and trauma-informed, with clear communication and respect for personal boundaries. Observation-only participation is always welcome.
Session 1: Safe Yoga Sequencing and Modifications
We’ll break down how to build classes that feel supportive, intelligent, and doable. You’ll learn practical modifications, smarter cueing, and how to offer options without turning your class into a TED Talk.
Session 2: Pre & Postnatal Modifications
We’ll explore how to adapt movement for prenatal and postpartum bodies with confidence and care. Think safer transitions, supportive options, and fewer moments of “am I doing this right?”
You’ll also receive a mini-guide to support your teaching and personal practice after the workshop, so you’re not leaving with just notes and good intentions.
This workshop is for yoga teachers, fitness instructors, bodyworkers, and curious humans who want movement to feel like support, not a performance.
Two sessions. Six hours. $150.
Limited spots. In person. Real bodies only.
Registration is open.
