This is what teamwork looks like. This is GMHA.

During COR 1, our hospital remained fully operational — powered by the dedication of our staff and the strength of our leadership working side by side.

From patient care to behind-the-scenes coordination, every department came together to adapt, respond, and keep our hospital strong when our community needed us most.

To our hospital workers and all essential workers across Guam and the Mariana Islands — thank you. Your commitment, sacrifice, and resilience made all the difference during this time.

For Guam. For Life. Entrusted with our island’s care since 1946.

Ready. Steady. Serving Guam 🇬🇺

Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero joined GMHA leadership for a hospital-wide readiness assessment ahead of the COR 1 declaration. Teams across all departments confirmed staffing, resources, and operational readiness to sustain continuous operations.

GMHA remains in full emergency operations under COR 1, maintaining essential hospital services, including 24/7 Emergency Room and inpatient care.

To preserve capacity during the storm, elective outpatient and clinical procedures are suspended, and visiting is restricted to approved patient watchers only.

For emergencies or life-threatening conditions, proceed to the GMHA Emergency Room or call 911. For non-emergency needs, residents are encouraged to seek care at DPHSS Community Health Centers, which remain open.

We extend our sincere thanks to all essential frontline responders across our island who continue to serve and protect our community during this time.

GMHA is prepared and will continue serving our community throughout the duration of the storm.

Stay safe Guam 🙏🏽
