Technically one of the hardest heel spur surgeries I’ve done . 2 large intratendenous calcifications and 2 heel spurs with mitek bone anchor re-attachment . It turned out great 😊

As a young man my father would tell me stories of the first GMH hospital administrator Mr Fleenor . He would walk the hallways and wipe it down with a handkerchief. If it was dusty he would have someone clean it right away. Fast forward to when I was a BOT at GMH. Mr McMillan the administrator would have the hospital floors buffed weekly and it was spotless.
Sad to say today GMH is filthy , unsafe and standards of care are broken daily . Our own public hospital subsidized by our tax dollars is being run by the most incompetent administrator and BOT . The people of Guam suffer at the expense of politics , pay raises and pare system . Doctors who bow 🙇🏻‍♂️ down to this administration get exorbitantly salaries and are untouchable . Political nepotism at best . While the hospital grabs at every chance it gets to beg for more money at the legislature always remember that this current administrator and BOT are clueless . They shoud do this island a favor and step down
