As September comes to an end, we pause to take in what this month has held. The stories shared. The conversations started. The moments of honesty and hope.

Su***de Prevention Month reminds us that staying is not always easy, but it is always worth it. Healing doesn't happen in a straight line. Sometimes it looks like falling down and standing back up. Sometimes it looks like asking for help. Sometimes it looks like simply staying through another day.

The month may be coming to an end, but the message remains: you matter. Your presence changes the lives around you in ways you may never see. Even in the heaviness, there is still light ahead. Even in the struggle, there is still a chance for connection, for healing, for tomorrow.

Thank you for remembering with us. Thank you for supporting with us. Thank you for staying.

Support is always here. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org. You deserve support. You deserve to stay another day.

Some stories stay with us forever. They remind us how heavy loss can feel, and how much hope matters.

This month, our Director chose to share her own story—not because it's easy, but because silence has never saved a life. Talking does. Listening does. Showing up does.

If you're carrying grief, questions, or pain, you don't have to carry it alone. There are people ready to sit with you in it, to remind you why tomorrow matters.

Stay with us. Stay another day. And if you need someone now, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org. Help is always three digits away.

This poem, Small Victories, was written and shared by Shay, one of our storytellers in the Stay Another Day campaign.

Healing isn't always about huge breakthroughs. Sometimes it's as small as leaving the house, saying yes to life, or taking one step forward. Those small victories matter. They mean you stayed.

Thank you for staying 💜

And if you're struggling, support is real and available. Call or text 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org.

Sometimes the hardest step is admitting your pain is real. That what you're carrying matters even when others don't see it.

Shay knows this deeply. She almost didn't stay. But today, she's here. And by sharing her voice, she's making space for someone else to stay too.

You can watch her full story in our reels or on Youtube through the link in our bio.

If you're struggling, please know that you don't have to go through it alone. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org.

This is Katie's story.

It's a reminder that what we carry doesn't make us broken. Anxiety, trauma, or loss don't erase our worth. They don't take away our humanity. They only show us how much strength it takes to keep breathing and to keep showing up.

Healing isn't about having it all figured out nor is it about pretending the struggle isn't real. Healing is found in moments of connection, in saying yes when isolation tells you to say no, in letting yourself be seen.

Katie's story carries a truth we all need to hear:
You don't have to be perfect to keep going. You just have to choose to stay. Another day to find support. Another day to connect. Another day to remember there's still more ahead of you.

Stay Another Day.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org for free, 24/7 support. Hope is closer than you think.

Behind these words is someone who almost didn't stay, but did.

This story tells us something important—even when you feel broken, you still matter. Even when hope feels far away, there are reasons, small or big, to stay.

Staying doesn't mean the struggle disappears. It means you give yourself another chance at healing. Another chance at connection. Another chance at tomorrow.

Stay Another Day.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org. It's free, confidential, and available 24/7. Hope is closer than you think.

Today, we pause for World Su***de Prevention Day.

It’s a day to remember those we’ve lost.
To hold space for the people still here.
And to say, out loud, that your life has meaning.

Hope can feel distant. Healing can take time. But staying gives tomorrow a chance to look different than today.

At 8PM tonight, light a candle near your window.
A single flame can carry a powerful message: we see you, we remember, and we're still here with hope.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org for free, confidential support, 24/7.

Last Friday, our community came together at Adelup to officially recognize September as both Su***de Prevention Month and Substance Use Prevention & Recovery Month.

At the heart of both is the same truth: healing is possible, support is real, and no one has to go through it alone.

We remember those we've lost. We stand with those who are struggling. We celebrate those living in recovery.

And we carry forward the message that has the power to save lives: Stay. Heal. Choose tomorrow.

You are not a burden.
You are not alone.
You deserve support.
You deserve to stay another day.

Some days, staying doesn't look like hope or healing.
It looks like breathing through another moment. It feels like carrying a weight no one else can see.

If that's where you are, you're not failing. You're not weak. You're human.
And being here is already a brave and powerful choice.

You don't have to have a reason to stay. You don't need to feel certain about tomorrow. Staying gives you another chance for things to shift, for support to meet you, for light to break through.

You deserve support. You deserve to stay another day.
Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org for free, confidential support, day or night.
