Queenstown Community Outreach will be held this Sunday 21st September, 2025 at the New Life Ministries Cathedral. Located at 225 Lance Gibbs street, Queenstown.

These community outreaches organized by the Ministry of Health are very important initiatives aimed at bringing healthcare services directly to the people, especially those who may not always have easy access to medical facilities.

During these outreaches, a variety of free health services are provided to the public, such as:
• Medical Consultation- having one on one with a doctor.
• General Laboratory Testing – This includes basic on the spot blood tests and other lab services that help people check on their health status.
• Eye Testing – Eye care professionals conduct vision checks, and for those in need, vouchers are provided to assist with the cost of spectacles (glasses).
• Cervical Cancer Screening – This is a very important service for women, as early detection can save lives. And HPV vaccines available.
• Universal Health Vouchers – These vouchers help to cover medical expenses for various health services and treatments, easing the financial burden on patients.
• Pharmacy services available
The outreach activities focus on preventive care and early detection of illnesses, allowing individuals to address potential health concerns before they become serious.

Most importantly, these events promote health awareness, encourage people to take responsibility for their well-being, and foster a stronger connection between the health sector and the community. It’s also a great opportunity for people to ask health questions, seek advice, and get medical guidance in a comfortable and accessible setting.
