Yesterday MASSY DISTRIBUTION in collaboration with the Guyana Pharmacists Association held its 2nd Pharmacists Symposium. This event was held in observance of World Pharmacists Day. The Hon. Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony delivered the feature address. Additionally, 10 Pharmacists were honored for their outstanding contribution in the various aspects of pharmacy practice.

Outstanding Community Pharmacists Award - Ms. Dianne Ramlall,
The Clinical Excellence Pharmacist Award - Ms. Leslyn Bunbury,
The Emerging Pharmacy Leader Award - Ms. Reisa Roberts & Ms. Dileya Deonarine,
Pharmaceutical Distribution Excellence Award- Ms. Poonam Phagu,
Innovative Manufacturing Pharmacists Award- Mr. Kevin Stoby,
The Beyond the Reach Pharmacist Award- Ms. Norissa Stuart,
The Regulatory Champion Award- Ms. Makeida James,
Trailblazer Pharmacy Research Award- Mrs. Jewel Edmondson-Carter
The Lifetime Achievement in Pharmacy Award- Mrs. Mena Carto.
This event show in attendance of over 150 Pharmacists, Assistants and Interns and booth displays from the Health & Beauty Division of MASSY DISTRIBUTION.
Many thanks to our presenters, delegates and most of all our sponsor MASSY DISTRIBUTION. The day end with Sip and Paint/ Wines. What a way to conclude World Pharmacists Day celebration.
