The Guyana Pharmacists’ Association just made HISTORY.🙌�Our 22nd Annual Pharmacists’ Convention, held on Sunday, June 22 at the Pegasus Suites and Corporate Centre, was our BIGGEST yet🎉
✨ 280 participants onsite
�🌐 144 attendees online
�🏢 28 vibrant display booths from our amazing partners and sponsors.

From powerful networking to meaningful fellowship and 6 Continuing Education credits, the day was packed with innovation and inspiration💼🤝📚
This year’s theme “ Innovating Pharmacy Practice: Advancing Care through Technology, Trust and Transformation” came to life in every session. 💡💙

*Pharmacy Week 2025 was a success – FBF Day 5 Recap*

Day 5 took us across three regions with impactful activities.

👩🏽‍⚕️ *Region 5 – Fort Wellington Hospital*:
Patients received snack packs, engaged in educational sessions on proper medication use, GPA awareness, and were introduced to the Medisafe app to boost adherence. Pill boxes were also distributed, thanks to the generous support from *Global Healthcare Supplies*.

🤰🏽 *Region 9 – St. Ignatius Health Center*:
Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants hosted an interactive session with antenatal mothers covering safe medication use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, managing common pregnancy-related conditions, and the benefits of the Medisafe app.

🍎 *Region 2 – Public Hospital Suddie*:
Mothers in the Maternity Ward were treated to nutritious fruit bowls while learning about healthy eating and safe medication use during pregnancy.

Pharmacy Week 2025 – Day 4 Recap🔔
What a day in Region 10, Linden Hospital Complex 💯

We kicked things off with a team breakfast, proudly repping pharmacy branded shirts to mark the celebrations.💊👕

The GPA team was on the ground engaging with patients, staff and community members. 👏

Patients received counseling on proper medication use, plus brochures and pill boxes thanks to Global Healthcare Supplies to boost medication adherence. 🧠📦

🌟 Pharmacy Week 2025 - Day 3 Recap. 📣

🎙️ We kicked things off on the Jumpstart Radio Program, where Mr. Bharat proudly represented the GPA. He shared insights about the GPA, highlighted activities for the week, and gave valuable tips for safe medication use.

🚐 Then we crossed the river to West Demerara Regional Hospital (Region 3) and what a vibrant day it was. The energy was sky high with fun activities like Who Am I: Pharma Edition and Wheel of Fortune, with tons of prizes up for grabs.🎉

🎁 Big thanks to Khan’s Consultancy and Caribbean Medical Supplies for their generous donation of food hampers.
🧴 Product sampling and health promotion by DSL, Jamieson, and Haliborange added to the buzz.
💬 The GPA team was on site offering educational counseling and distributing handy pill boxes, courtesy of Global Healthcare Supplies.

👶 Meanwhile, at the Public Hospital Suddie Region 2 anti-natal clinic, expectant mothers were engaged in a health education session and introduced to the Medisafe App for better medication management.
