【香港的脊骨療法與脊醫專業的發展】

香港自1993年已通過《脊醫註冊條例》，並由衛生署轄下的脊醫管理局負責規管行業標準、註冊及紀律事宜。作為受法定監管的醫療專業之一，脊醫致力提供脊骨及相關痛症治療的服務，提升市民的脊骨健康意識。

近年市面充斥着缺乏監管的「痛症中心」，誘使市民購買昂貴的痛症療程，導致經濟損失甚至危害健康。建議市民應向註冊的專業醫護人員求醫，以獲得適當的治療。此外，為保障病人的安全及權益，當遇上懷疑違反紀律的情況，市民可以向相關管理局舉報。

For all busy bees Working From Home today, be sure to check the following working posture:

1️⃣ Desk - Appropriate height for proper placement of elbows at 90 degrees 📐
2️⃣ Chair - Sturdy backrest at around 90-100 degrees 📐 with good lumbar support
3️⃣ Legs - Both knees bent at 90 degrees 📐 with feet flat on the floor or a footrest
4️⃣ Don’t forget to take a break and STRETCH 🙆‍♀️!

It was my great pleasure and honour to be in the organizing committee of Dr Bruce Vaughan’s memorial, as a way to show my gratitude to a significant benefactor of our profession and a mentor who had a lasting impact on my career. I hope Dr Vaughan’s legacy will continue to inspire the new generation of chiropractors and guide the Hong Kong Chiropractors Association to new heights.
