For those interested in making homemade Ghee-
Here is my little making of😉

1. Cut your butter into roughly squares. This will help your butter melt faster and more evenly.
2. Once its completely melted, it will bubble and begin to separate. As the butter simmers, turn the heat down to medium low, some of the milk proteins rise and sit on the surface as it separates from the fat and water.
3. For next 5 mins, just let the butter simmer and watch the bubbles emerge from that thick foam, increasing in size and number.
4. Use a spoon to skim the white solids on the surface and discard.
5. It will get more and more translucent, the bubbles will get larger and the foam will eventually completely disappear.
6. Take off the heat and let that foam settle for a few seconds.
7. Filter the ghee☺️

As one of Ayurveda's most treasured foods, ghee has incredible healing properties🙏🏻 Not just tasty but also it benefits your body:)
Ghee contains good amount of healthy fats, vitamin A, E and D, it’s also full of omega-3 fatty acids, which are good fats and are essential for improving the brain and heart health. It also provides a lot of energy to the body~

What would you do when facing adversity?

Everyone may react differently, but majority of us never see it in a positive light. In any difficult situation we face, it provides us an opportunity to learn from it the hard way that could actually improve our life. It allows us to redefine things and explore alternative options, view our challenges positively and be open minded to what lies ahead... it’s actually a chance for us to explore creative solutions rather then played things safe, develop our inner growth and get out of our comfort zone........💭

Lots of beginners told me they can’t do yoga because they are not flexible. They see other students and teacher doing poses like King Pigeon or Cobra and get discouraged...

Everytime I’ll tell them yoga is not just about the asana, it’s not about how flexible you are or how much strength you got.....everybody is at their different stage of yoga practice and people who can bend and pose like this because they have keep their discipline, exploring their body’s strength and flexibility and appreciate this in their practice. So the practice itself is the most valuable part, when you practice more often you will get to experience this “shifts” in your body. Every time you stand on the mat you will feel different, or maybe I should say...every practice is different...♥️

Moving your body and keeping your awareness to your body is a gift! Let’s start off today with a Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana), stay in the pose for 1 minute, you will feel totally different. You don’t necessary need to touch your toes, just be relax and get the feeling of hanging there, releasing the tension on your lower back, relax your spine, your neck, or you can even hold your opposite elbows swinging to Left and Right, just do what it feels good for you🙃🌞

Halfway Lift.

I still remember how confused when I first heard this pose, especially when different teachers have a slew of ways to describe this asana," inhale extend your spine, inhale flat back, inhale lengthen or inhale halfway lift! etc." So where should I put my hands on? Do I need to hold the pose? Oh wait I feel so good in this why not holding longer?......💭

This is not a pose that really get "taught" but its one of the key transitional pose in surya namaskar, and it feels surprisingly good! Traditionally this pose is done on the inhale, exhale to forward fold, and inhale to halfway lift.

Lets just feel and slow down to enjoy in this posture.💚

Something you might want to know about "Halfway Lift"-
Sanskrit: Ardha Uttanasana

Urdhva Dhanurasana Variations...✨
#1 Straight-Legged Wheel
This variation allow a deeper stretch of the hip flexors, it’s also a great way to lengthen the spine. Activation of the legs can help push the chest forward, so it brings the bending more on the upper back than on the lower back/lumbar area.

🔺This pose require stronger power from the legs.

Prepare yourself to standard Wheel pose, press your palms firmly on the ground, push your chest forward as you walk your feet further away from your hands until you fully straighten your legs.
