她作為阿波羅的雙胞胎姐姐，所以她也被稱為光明之神，尤其是明月之光。她和阿波羅一樣有醫療的能力。她還是幼小兒童和所有哺乳動物的保護神。

古老傳說提到，被月亮女神所親吻過的人都會變得具有奇特的想像力。透過寧靜而安定的香氣，讓我們可以感受到月光女神所帶來的溫柔。
