How it works
This is a process fully analogous to the solar cells (photovoltaic panels). The Photocatalytic materials are also charged by the light energy, and once charged, they use the energy to destroy any chemical compound that reaches close to the active surface, transforming it into harmless substances, as chalk, calcite or calcium nitrate. It results in a cleaner and healthier air, as well as in surfaces eliminating dirt before it accumulates on them. The different active components are designed to use as much as possible from the light received, so to accelerate the pollutants destruction. Mainly, the pollutants created by cars, trucks and industries. Also, a big part of the pollutants present in our homes, coming from the use of synthetic materials, paints, varnishes and lacquers, and also those created by our daily activity –kitchen, heating, tobacco, and so… They also destroy the compounds that are deposited on the surfaces, fouling and feeding microbial, bacteria, moulds and yeasts.
