We are thrilled to announce that Immune Materials Limited (IML) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CVI Modern Technology Development Limited (CVI) and Kin Sang Chemical Limited (KSC) on the Hong Kong Polytechnic University campus.

This partnership combines research expertise × materials engineering × industrial networks to jointly develop 100% “Made in Hong Kong” eco-friendly, non-toxic antimicrobial plastic materials — taking PolyU-originated research from lab to real-world industry applications.

本週末，易新材料（IML）非常榮幸參與由理大與福建省人民政府港澳事務辦公室在晉江聯合舉辦的香港理工大學科技成果轉化大會暨技術創新研究院首屆年度交流會（2025）。

This weekend, Immune Materials Limited (IML) was delighted to participate in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Technology Commercialisation Conference and First Annual Exchange Meeting of the Technology Innovation Research Institute (2025) held in Jinjiang, organised in collaboration with the Fujian Provincial Government’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office.

Our team proudly showcased IMU+® antimicrobial solutions in the exhibition and project roadshow, demonstrating real-world applications in healthcare, public hygiene, and advanced manufacturing. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with meaningful exchanges on how our technology can support national innovation-driven development.

A special highlight: the Vice Governor of Fujian Province was attracted to our booth and stopped by to learn more!

Heartfelt thanks to PolyU, the organising team, and all partners for this landmark platform. We look forward to deepening collaboration and bringing our innovations closer to market and society.

易新材料有限公司（IML）昨日有幸聯同香港理工大學（PolyU），歡迎勞工及福利局康復服務首席社會工作主任胡德輝先生及社會福利署（SWD）代表團到訪理大工業中心及U3DP。

參訪由本公司聯合創辦人盧君宇教授及簡志偉教授，聯同行政總裁魏志文先生帶領。重點產品悉數亮相，包括具純白、防污、防油、防霉特性的白色人造皮枕套，現已於全港多間醫院使用；抗菌圍裙，現於香港保護兒童會（HKSPC）應用；以及與理大眼科視光學院合作開發的最新3D打印抗菌眼鏡組件。代表團亦參觀了我們與富康會的合作項目，展示製造IMU+® 3D打印防護方案的最新進展。

社署對我們的技術及其社會影響力深表讚賞。會後，雙方進行了富有成果的討論，探討如何將我們的解決方案引入社區，惠及有需要人士。展望未來，社署將與IML及理大緊密合作，推動有意義的改變。

Immune Materials Limited (IML) was honoured to join The Hong Kong Polytechnic University yesterday in welcoming Mr Wu Tak-fai, Chief Social Work Officer, and the Social Welfare Department delegation to PolyU’s Industrial Centre and U3DP.

The visit was led by our co-founders Prof. Chris Lo and Prof. C.W. Kan, alongside CEO Mr Spike Ngai. Key products were proudly showcased to our guests, including white artificial leather pillow cases featuring always-white, anti-stain, anti-oil, and anti-mould properties, now deployed in multiple hospitals across Hong Kong; antimicrobial aprons currently in use at the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC); and our latest 3D-printed antimicrobial eyewear components, developed in collaboration with PolyU’s School of Optometry. The delegation also explored our partnership with the Fu Hong Society, during which we showcased our recent project to manufacture IMU+® 3D-printed protective solutions.

SWD was very impressed with our technology and its potential for social impact. Following the visit, both parties engaged in a fruitful discussion on how our solutions can be brought into the community to benefit those in need. Moving forward, SWD will closely collaborate with IML and PolyU to drive meaningful change.
