我們的朋友滑雪受傷了⛷️ 。

應該用凍敷或熱敷?

受傷後,尤其當有紅腫情況,應用冰敷在疼痛部位10-20分鐘,必要時抬高受傷部位。不應在受傷後的72 小時內進行熱敷,因加熱會增加疼痛、血流和腫脹。輕鬆活動患處,維持關節穩定及肌肉關節基本活動可以加速痊愈。

經過一星期的物理治療及康復運動,活動幅度大大改善了,接近回復原有狀態。

Do we apply ice or heat after an injury?

When there is swelling, apply an ice pack immediately for 10-20 mins and elevate the injured area if necessary. Do not apply heat during the first 72 hours following the injury, applying heat will increase pain, blood flow, and swelling.

After a week of physiotherapy combined with rehabilitation, significant improvement achieved.

正在滑雪⛷️的朋友,以下是一些滑雪備忘錄 😊

每朝早:

食個豐富嘅早餐 (非常重要),做熱身運動,有時間的話… 來個熱水浸浴(或 sauna) ,可以減少肌肉在滑雪過程中受損。

每晚 (在日本的大浴場比較容易實行😊):

用凍水浸浴(唔容易 🥶,但有用),有助減低肌肉炎症,並加快恢復過程。 接着浸入熱水。重覆幾組,有助增加血液循環。

While you are enjoying the snow ❄️ and slopes ⛷️ , do not forget about the pre and post preparation 😊.

Before hitting the slopes:

Have a good breakfast (super important), warm up exercise, and if time permits 😅, a short dip in the hot tub /sauna. Warm muscles are less likely to be over loaded during exercise.

After an exciting day:

Take a cold bath (we know is not easy, but it helps). The cold temperature will slow down any muscle inflammation and speed up recovery. After this, jump back into the hot tub to improve circulation. Repeat this for a few sets, easier for those in Japan 😊.

Skiing and snowboarding are physically demanding sports, it is essential to have our bodies well prepared.

We recommend a series of exercises to help improve Strengthening, Range of Motion and Balance, so as to minimise injury and better enjoy the snow season.

半月板是位於膝蓋的半月型的軟骨平塊, 主要作用就像一塊墊片, 分散負荷。損傷通常發生在膝蓋彎曲和扭曲時, 導致不適和腫脹,或膝關節炎。

MCL 是位於膝蓋「內側」部分的堅固韌帶,當內側副韌帶伸展過度,便很容易撕裂和受傷。

物理治療可以幫助緩解疼痛和腫脹,並恢復功能。

Given the speed of football athletes, injuries are common and mostly around the knee.

THE MENISCUS TEAR
The meniscus is a crescent-shaped piece of cartilage located in our knees. Injuries typically occur when the knee is flexed and twisted.

THE MCL SPRAIN
MCL is a strong ligament located on the “inside” portion of the knee. It is usually injured by pressure or stress to the outer side part of the knee, causing the outside of the knee to buckle and the inside to widen.

Physiotherapy can help with pain and swelling, and to resume function.
