GOALS

I decided on something today.
Starting Over.
I’ve been doing this constantly. Right now, I’m literally laughing at myself. Just like when our gadgets are not working, we press the reset button. That’s what I do. Press the Reset button as long as it’s needed.
Everything that we do is based on our habits and our beliefs. Like a computer we have our own programming. If you don’t like what’s happening in your life, you have to reframe your own programming.
For me, that’s the hardest thing to do. But I do try, and most of the time I know that I’m improving, other times I would notice that “hey, it’s my old self again” 😊Then back to the Reset button.
Goals are a wonderful part of personal growth. When I make my future goals, it gives me the motivation to work on it and achieve them. Sometimes it seems impossible to achieve but the most important thing is to believe that it’s possible even though you don’t know how it’s going to happen.
I wrote my 101 life goals. Crazy, isn’t it? But I did it anyway. I just wrote everything I wanted in life. That’s it.
You know what I noticed? The first part of it is mostly material things. All the mundane stuff that we dream of. But by the end of it, it’s all about being a good person, having peace and fulfillment in life and most of all having contributed something to the world.

Isn’t it amazing? Deep down, all we want is Love and Peace.

“CONTRASTS”

Day and Night. Black and White. Light and Dark.
Just like every day, we have day and night. Can you imagine what it will be like if we only have daytime? Or only nighttime? I don’t even want to think about it.
How about good and bad? We all can’t be “good” all the time or “bad” all the time. We all have a not so nice character within us. We may call it weaknesses or our flaws or bad attitudes or the most popular one... “Nobody’s perfect.”
And it’s true, nobody is. When we are on that dark side of ourselves, it’s where lessons are learned. We get hurt, we promise ourselves not to do it again, we cry, and put the “dark” away. When it’s gone, we’re happy again.
Contrasts… that’s what life is all about. Balance. Happiness and sadness. We’ve all been there. Now I look back at all the Dark Moments of my life and I’m glad I’ve been there because there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.

Whatever life throws at you, always remember God’s promise. He will never leave you empty. He will be with you wherever, whenever.

“GOD’S WAY”

One thing you learn from meditation is Patience.
I’m a very impatient person. I used to get angry very easily. I hate waiting for people who are late for our meetings. I want things to happen right here right now.
I now meditate twice a day. It’s also my “just listening prayer” and I noticed that I’m now a bit slower in reacting to situations that would normally make me agitated and stressed. It really helps to quiet the mind and let things happen. Release control.
Not everything in our life is under our control. If you let God take charge of your life, know that your daily existence will be full of surprises. Sometimes sad, sometimes blissful. But whatever it is accept it with an open heart.
God’s love abounds. It’s overflowing. All you have to do is open your mind and heart to receive it.
Let God love you in His way.

RUIN

I heard a phrase. “Your ruin is your road to prosperity.” Or there’s no other way at rock bottom except to go up.
I had my rock bottom or RUIN years ago. It was messy, buckets of tears were shed, a crazy time of my life. But then years later, I discovered a lot about myself.
I didn’t know I could write, but I wrote a book. My fear of being alone vanished, I now live alone! I was so afraid that with my age I would not be able to find a job. But guess what? I’m never out of a job.
Truly, my ruin made me stronger.
And now, I’m no longer afraid of trials. They’re a part of life. They’re a part of our journey.
Just remember, when you’re down there’s no other way but to go up.
Embrace your RUIN. You’ll be surprised at where it could lead you to.
The journey to the destination is always more meaningful. 😍🤩

Do you worry a lot?
When I woke up this morning, I knew I was having a wonderful dream. Unfortunately, I can’t remember it. But I knew it was a happy dream.

Afterwards, my conscious self started thinking about the future. My career, finances, life, etc. etc.…. Worry.
I started my morning prayer and as if on cue God answered me. Look at the birds in the sky, they never sow but the Lord takes care of their needs.

And it’s true. God took care of all my needs, sometimes even before I ask.
I smiled and thanked the Lord.
I am His beloved child. He will equip me for the days to come. He will take care of me no matter what.
Lesson? Never doubt… Believe.
Believe you were created for a purpose. Believe that your heart’s desires will come true.

Believe you are never alone.
We are all in this Together…
God has a very wonderful way of giving us what we need.

It always comes when you least expect it.
Isn’t it amazing? Just when you’re losing hope, someone calls you and offers you a job.
Or when you’re feeling so alone and depressed, a friend would come along and make you laugh.
Surprise, Surprise! Sometimes life has a funny way of making us feel we matter in this world.
Live in the moment.
Appreciate all and I mean all the little things that life throws at you.
Your happiness should always come from inside.
Be happy and you will attract more happiness to come your way.

LIVE IN WONDER

Do you believe that God pours His blessings to each and everyone of us every minute of every day?
Do you believe that all of God’s creation is for our everyday needs and pleasure?
In the book of Genesis, it was said that God created the heavens and the earth. He created light and darkness which is our Day and Night. He created the seas and dry land.
He created vegetation, plants and fruit trees. He made the seas teem with life, and the land with all kinds of animals, and birds in the sky.
When God was satisfied with all of these, that is when He created us.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
I went out to do some errands. Mainly it was to pay my bills. For me this is an unpleasant thing to do.

When money is going out of my pocket, I have that nasty feeling. But then I thought, hey it’s Monday, I don’t want to start my week with a heavy heart.
I started searching for the blessing in what I was doing. There it is, staring at me in the face. I had money to pay my bills. Isn’t that blessing enough? I am paying something instead of borrowing money.
So, now I am on the hunt for more blessings.
I went on to visit some of my former colleagues at work, since I am in the area; I got hugs and I gave out hugs for my friends.
What a wonderful feeling. Then I enjoyed my ferry ride on the way home. Looking at the clear blue sky, feeling the fresh cool wind, and seeing the happy people taking pictures of the beautiful sights right in front of us.
God’s blessings are all around us. It is like a buffet laid out in front of us. All we need to do is appreciate it and savor the goodness that the Lord gives us every day.
Try and change your perspective in life. See the blessing instead of the problems.
See the world in a new light. Live in the wonder of God’s creation.
Believe that you can make your life beautiful. And most of all, believe that God loves you more than you can ever imagine.

God believes in the wonder that is YOU.
