「年青人，究竟有咩動力，驅使你做中醫呀？」
年幼時看見母親體弱多病的苦況，自己無能為力，心裡跟着難受；又有一段時間，患上奇怪的病，西醫找不出原因，又束手無策，後來竟然讓中醫治好了。一次因緣際會下到訪醫學院，深深被中醫所吸引，那一刻下定了決心，為醫之初衷：「上以療君親之病，下以救貧賤之厄，中以保身長全，以養其生。」大學要修讀中醫！
