A strong and powerful torso can provide a solid "anchor point" and "stabilizing belt" for the rapidly elongating spine, effectively buffering the asymmetric stress caused by growth and slowing down the aggravating trend.

Providing "corrective support": Many corrective movements themselves require strength to perform. A weak body is like soft soil, unable to support and maintain the correct posture we establish through training.
