Our recent LinkedIn poll asked you about your preferred way to break a sweat. It turns out that, when it comes to fitness, independence is key!
Nearly half of you prefer to hit the gym, tracks, trails, or wherever you prefer to work out, solo. Here is the full breakdown of how you exercise:
🏃♂️➡️ 47% of you love to work out solo
🏃♂️➡️ 25% of you prefer to exercise with a partner or friend
🏃♂️➡️ 14% enjoy participating in class or group sessions
🏃♂️➡️ 14% prioritise working with a coach or personal trainer to hit your fitness goals
The takeaway? While the accountability from working with friends and family is fantastic, the flexibility and mental “me-time” of a solo workout is something that resonates and is valued. Does that surprise you, or is it a predictable outcome and feeling in a world where we’re all so busy and always moving?
At Now Health International, we know there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and well-being. Whether you’re spending time alone on a yoga mat, pushing your limits while lifting weights with a friend, trying to be top of the class, or putting in the work with a coach, the most important thing is that you are moving your body and protecting your long-term health.
