"Here are some fun... These are all just more pre-activity noticings that you can do, like tracking a ball, like perhaps you have a ball on a string and you just track it. Can you track it left to right? And if you Think of an X is it easier? Or drawing, a lot of times when kids are drawing, you'll see that they draw in a very one sided way. That is they put their eyes very close to the pen. Have you seen this? And then they draw very tiny and they actually get quite stressed. That is how I learned to draw very tiny going over things, over and over again, erasing then more... more stress on top of that but it's not healthy for the visual system because you are inhibiting, a very large portion of your visual system and not referring back to it. You can see there's a whole list of things here that you can, when you see a child or an adult who can't do one of those things, you can say 'Maybe the X could be helpful' using scissors, buttoning a shirt, tying shoelaces and so on..."
