We were honoured to attend the Stronger Safeguarding Together Conference hosted by last week.🛡️

The conference brought together educators, clinicians, safeguarding professionals, and community leaders committed to strengthening child protection and wellbeing for young people.

Our team at Therapy Partners was grateful for the opportunity to connect with schools and families, share information about our psychological services, and contribute to these important conversations around safeguarding and mental health. 🤝

A special highlight was our founder, Dr Andrew Stock, presenting on “Countering the Com: Uplifting Healthy Masculinity for Today’s Boys and Young Men.”

The talk explored how we can support boys and young men in developing emotional awareness, healthy identity formation, connection, empathy, and resilience in today’s complex digital and social landscape.

Thank you to the organisers and everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with us.

🌿 Beyond the Binary: Building Inclusive Spaces 🌿

On Monday, 13 April 2026, our founder, Dr Andrew Stock, facilitated the second full-day workshop in a series titled “Beyond the Binary: Supporting healthy masculinity, transgender inclusion, and intersectional identities.”

Hosted by ESF at their Centre in North Point, the workshop brought together educational psychologists, school counsellors, teachers, principals, and other ESF staff for a highly engaging and reflective learning experience.

Through collaborative group discussions, interactive activities, and open dialogue, participants explored how to better support diverse identities and foster more inclusive environments in both education and community settings. The group also discussed together how to help boys and young men develop healthy, open, and broad-minded masculinity.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated for your openness, energy, and commitment to learning.

At this point, it’s up to you – don't forget that you’re also making sure this therapist is right for you.
 
It is normal for you to feel nervous on your first session, and the therapist will do their best to help you relax as they try to build a trusted relationship with you.
