Originally from Australia, Tess started her personal pilates practice to remedy chronic back pain, recurring injuries, and to correct poor posture after beginning a desk job for the first time.
After years of practicing pilates as a student, her passion for the practice expanded into a career as she pursued Mat Pilates Teacher Training through the Canadian STOTT institute.
As a teacher, Tess loves being able to share the benefits of this Mat-based practice with a wide range of students, from new clients discovering pilates to seasoned clients honing their skills - there is always a way to challenge yourself in this form-focused practice!
Tess leads classes that are geared around personalised postural assessments as well as clients’ goals, whether that be toning and strengthening, correcting pain or postural imbalances, or simply finding time in your day to move and enjoy it!
