Sharapy 相癒 - Share is a Therapy 相遇、分享、療癒
It began with a mother of two young children who took it on herself to give her 100% to fulfill her passion at work, and another 100% for the family, only to realize the math didn’t add up when she was forced to stop everything having been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 33.
Although the treatment journey was blessed with the care of her loving family and friends, she also realized that the end of cancer treatments is the beginning of many new challenges, and much education is needed about healthcare and survivorship. With her passion and experience in the arts, she founded Sharapy to harness the creative power of the community to enhance the emotional and physical well-being of not only survivors but everyone through arts and health events, allowing everyone to SHARE a healthy and balanced lifestyle .
跟很多媽媽一樣, 創辦人不但想付出100%去追求自己熱愛的工作, 再另加100%去照顧有兩個小朋友的家庭﹐直至她患上癌症﹐被迫將所有東西停下來的時候才發現之前的生活方式是行不通的。
在治療的日子裡她幸運地有很多關心地的家人和朋友﹐但過程中她了解到治療的結束往往是新挑戰的開始﹐而且社會上對於健康和復康生活的教育仍然缺乏。於是她創辦了「相癒」﹐希望以自己對藝術的熱愛和經驗, 來鼓勵社會團體的創作力量, 以鞏固大家的身心健康及生活質素﹐透過有創意的藝術及健康活動來提倡健康和平衡的生活。
