This 72-hour hands-on course is designed to build our learners with a solid foundation on their massage technique so to provide a full-body massage for their friends & family as well as their first step into the professional world, if this is their goal.

This course offers lots of demonstration from our tutor and hands-on practice.

1. Basic massage theory and contra-indication
2. Swedish massage and Deep-tissue massage techniques

Our Story

Asia-Pacific Aromatherapy (APA) 於1999年由現任榮譽校長Christine Saunders創立，旨在透過培訓優秀的專業香薰治療師將香薰治療的好處推廣至亞太地區。 本院校提供亞洲區內最全面的香薰治療文憑課程，並設有中、英文課程以配合不同需要，更是獲得三個國際香薰治療協會認可的院校，包括英國的IFPA, 美國的NAHA及新西蘭的NZROHA。 目前，學院恒常開辦各級 課程，由入門班、證書班、工作坊，以致持續專業進修課程，為就讀的學生及畢業生們提供進修階級。自2011年起，學院更每年舉辦「世界專家系列」， 邀請業界頂尖的學者到港講學，令學院與世界接軌。近年，APA更獲邀成為每兩年一度集全球業界專業精英的研討會Botanica 2016 及Botanica 2018的地區大使。 能夠成為地區大使，定必為該區的精英院校。 APA已發展成為一所多元化專業香薰治療的服務機構， 我們亦有銷售一系列符合專業治療師嚴格要求及具卓越療效的香薰精油、底油、複方治療配方及相關產品。 為了令學生把理論實踐出來， 治療中心由畢業生們提供不單香薰治療服務，亦同時提供不同的整全治療服務，以自然為本的取向協助客人恢復活力，達致療癒效果。 作為一所院校，我們緊貼國際科研的最新動向，並堅持恪守優質的標準，因此，深受學生及客顧的信任，並與他們一起成長。

Asia-Pacific Aromatherapy (APA) was established in 1999 by Christine Saunders, now our Honorary Principal, with the vision of promoting the benefits of aromatherapy in Asia-Pacific region through the training of top quality professional aromatherapists. Our diploma course, both in English and Cantonese, is the most comprehensive one in Asia and is the only one in Hong Kong that is accredited by 3 international governing bodies for Aromatherapy, namely, the UK-based IFPA, USA-based NAHA and NZ-based NZROHA.

The school offers a popular spectrum of aromatherapy courses and workshops for both beginners and graduates. With the vision to broaden the knowledge of aromatherapists in Hong Kong, the school has launched “APA World Expert Series” in 2011 bringing world experts of the field to Hong Kong sharing their precious knowledge.

To put theory into practice, APA Treatment Centre provides not only aromatherapy consultation and treatment but also various nature-based therapies that aim to heal and revitalize. Therapists are all professionally trained and experienced body workers while treatments are all based on clients own body needs.
