From everything slotting into place and having an extra reason for everything I did, I came across more and more reasons to help those in need. This world is forever changing and I hope to be part of the change for Timor. I’ve often heard from people that I get chatting to in Timor that the country seems to have a magnetic pull to whoever that pass through. anyone that has visited Timor once, they’ve told me has come back again either for vacation or for work, they find that they have been on an elastic band that snaps them back to the original mold after it has been stretched for too long. It is indeed a country with a strange aura of overpowering beauty yet tragic history showing through in all the derelict bombed out rubble. I find that I too, have somehow come across this magnetic pull that is hard to explain other than to understand it has become a part of me. In all that I dream now is for better future for Timor, to provide a better health care system that reaches to the furthest rural districts of the island, to having a consistency between their school education models, to just being there…moving forward with the people, committing to change, one step at time.
