中國的香文化已經數千年的歷史，合香（多種香葯混合香）的文化非常豐厚。比如在四庫全書所記載的《陳氏香譜》已經證明了合香的使用在古代非常流行，不論在宗教、品味生活，還是保健養生當中也會經常使用。但是時到今日，香文化隨著中國傳統文化而衰落。因此，只剩下單品香繼續承傳中國傳統的香文化。當今中國人對香文化就是“禮失求諸野”，從日本從唐宋所學習的合香文化中尋囘自己的傳統。現在把失落的合香文化重新推廣，希望更多人能夠分享薰香的喜悅。
