Tomorrow (Sunday, 7th December) marks the polling day for the 8th Legislative Council General Election of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This election is not only crucial to Hong Kong’s overall prosperity, stability and long-term development, but also closely linked to the healthcare sector’s industrial planning, the optimization of chiropractors’ practice environment and the formulation of relevant policies.

It directly affects every member’s professional rights and interests as well as the future development pattern of the industry, carrying extraordinary significance.

Please be sure to bring your original Hong Kong Identity Card and go to the polling station specified on your polling notice. Earnestly exercise your civic rights and obligations by casting votes in both the Geographical Constituency Election and the Functional Constituency Election. Elect competent representatives who can speak up for the chiropractic industry and promote its sound development.

Today, our Chiropractic Volunteer Team has stationed at the temporary shelter in Tai Po Tung Cheong Street Sports Centre. We provided professional chiropractic care to affected community and frontline volunteers, supporting those affected through medical expertise.

Beyond the support from various medical professionals, all sectors of society have also stepped forward generously. 💪🏻💪🏻

大埔宏福苑發生五級火災意外，造成多人傷亡，香港執業脊醫協會對此深感悲痛。我們謹向遇難者和殉職消防員致以沉痛哀悼，向其家屬致以最深切的慰問；同時，也向所有傷者及參與救援的消防員表達誠摯關懷，衷心祝願傷者早日康復。

A Grade 5 fire broke out at Tai Po Wang F*k Court, resulting in multiple casualties. The Chiropractic Doctors’ Association of Hong Kong expresses deep sorrow over this tragic incident, extends sincere condolences to the families of the deceased, and offers heartfelt sympathy to all the injured and the firefighters who participated in the rescue operation. We sincerely wish the injured a speedy recovery.

CDAHK Call for Active Participation in Legislative Council General Election

香港特別行政區第八屆立法會（立法會）大選將於2025年12月7日（星期日）舉行。這次選舉是影響我們醫療行業與社區未來的關鍵機會。CDAHK 呼籲所有會員及社區人士在選舉日積極參與。你的聲音很重要！

感謝立法局議員陳永光這幾年一直和我們CDAHK積極溝通，一起共同努力在多方渠道爭取政府加強監管非法行醫。為西醫、中醫、脊醫和物理治療師發聲。

陳永光議員在今日(10月16日)舉行的立法會會上，動議了「加強打擊非法行醫，保障市民健康」議案，並到得議員們的支持，獲得通過。施政報告和醫務衞生局，明確表示會加強對醫療服務的專業規管，並針對無牌人士加強執法。我們相信政府的決心和擔當，以及大家的寶貴意見，定能有效打擊非法行醫行為，保障公眾健康，維護香港醫療衞生界的良好聲譽。

CDAHK 又一年成為召集人之一為香港醫療衛生界籌辦香港醫療衛生界慶祝中華人民共和國成立76周年酒會。這是全港醫療界一年一度最大的盛事，二十多個醫療專業界別聚首一堂，舉杯同慶。

很開心能見證脊醫融入香港「醫療一家」的體系，30位醫療專業代表用了一年時間合力籌劃這一年一度的醫療界盛事。

香港衛生服務界慶回歸，賀國慶慶祝晚會 2025

香港執業脊醫協會獲邀成為籌委會成員之一，在崔紹漢博士的召集下跟來自十多個衛生服務界別的學會經過多個月籌備，晚會終於順利舉行。

CDAHK 經過很多年的努力與不同醫療行業溝通，讓其他專業更深入認識我們脊醫，很高興看見過去兩年脊醫這個行業進一步融入香港衛生服務界這個大家庭，很多醫療專業團體都為脊醫給予寶貴的意見或在政策上幫助脊醫發聲，非常期待將來可以繼續和其他醫療專業攜手推動香港醫療發展，為市民完善香港醫療服務，為脊醫爭取更多的法定權益，如簽發病假紙，或進入公營系統等等。

脊醫在今年底將會開通醫健通，這個不但是CDAHK努力的成果，亦要感謝其他醫療專業團體給予的寶貴指導和支持 。

2025 Hong Kong Healthcare Sector Gala for Celebrating the National Day

CDAHK was invited to be a member of the Organizing Committee. Under the convening of Dr. Chui Siu-hon, the gala was successfully held after months of preparation together with associations from other healthcare sectors.

After years of efforts in communicating with different healthcare professions, CDAHK has enabled other professionals to gain a deeper understanding of chiropractic. We are pleased to see that the chiropractic profession has further integrated into the big family of Hong Kong's healthcare sector over the past two years. Many healthcare professional organizations have provided valuable advice to chiropractors or advocated for chiropractors in terms of policies. We are very much looking forward to continuing to join hands with other healthcare professions in the future to promote the development of Hong Kong's healthcare sector, enhance Hong Kong's healthcare services for the public, and strive for more statutory rights for chiropractors, such as issuing medical sick leave certificates and accessing the public healthcare system.

Chiropractors will br able to access to the eHealth System by the end of this year. This is not only a result of CDAHK's efforts, but also the valuable guidance and support provided by other healthcare professional organizations.
