The Physician’s Annual Banquet – Step into the 70s
We were delighted to gather last night at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital’s Physician’s Annual Banquet, held on June 24 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. This year’s theme, “Step into the 70s,” invited everyone on a nostalgic journey, reflecting on the hospital’s remarkable growth and transformation since its founding. That evening, colleagues from Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Stubbs Road and Adventist Medical Center joined in the fun by dressing up in vibrant 70s outfits, truly capturing the spirit of the era. The whole event was filled with energy and laughter.

The venue was beautifully decorated with retro elements and vibrant colours, from the lighting and table settings to the background music—all celebrating the creativity and energy of the 1970s. A special exhibition area showcased important milestones and treasured moments from the hospital’s history, reminding us of our ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.

Throughout the evening, a live band played classic 70s hits, inspiring everyone to sing and dance together. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and a wonderful sense of unity as colleagues set aside the day’s work to enjoy a night of music, fun, and shared memories.

This memorable celebration was not only a tribute to our achievements but also an opportunity to look ahead to the future.
