As clinicians, in addition to treating the presenting symptoms and signs of the consequence (in this case, the cortical breaks of the anterior humeral head), it is imperative to look for and treat the root causes of the consequence (the IF lesions which caused scapulothoracic dyskinesia) to provide long-term relief and prevent recurrence.
