As one of the most representative service providers supporting ageing-in-place in Hong Kong, Icon Medical Group (“IconMed”) is principally engaged in the provision of professional caregiving training, private nursing services and second medical opinion consultation services through its team of medical, nursing and training professionals. In addition to high-quality private care for the elderly and other dependants like people under rehabilitation or with disabilities or chronic illness, IconMed provides training programmes to caregivers (including family and non-family members and foreign domestic helpers of care recipients), equipping them with the required professional caregiving skills and knowledge. IconMed is the first caregiver training institution in Hong Kong that has been accredited by both UK and US Accreditation Organisations including City & Guilds, Training Qualifications UK (TQUK), American Caregiver Association (ACA) and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI); and it joins hands with Hong Kong Cardiac Nursing Association (HKCNA) in organising a comprehensive training programme, which covers First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). An unmatched advantage of IconMed’s training programme is that graduates are entitled to obtain 5 certifications: (i) “Certificate in First Aid and CPR with AED” from HKCNA; (ii) “Assured Professional Certificate in Caregiving” from City & Guilds; (iii) “Certificate in Caregiving (Level 2)” from TQUK; (iv) “National Caregiver Certification” from ACA; and (v) “Adult First Aid, CPR & AED” Certification from ASHI. IconMed also adopts an all-rounded and patented “Elite Caregiver” approach, which not only equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge, but also helps them cultivate the right attitude of being a caregiver. Besides, IconMed provides Cantonese or Mandarin training for foreign domestic helpers and arranges volunteer services at elderly homes for participants, so as to enhance their communication capability and practical experience. 「君譽醫療」是香港最具代表性的居家安老護理服務及培訓機構之一；擁有專科醫生、專業護理及教學團隊，為長者、病患者及其照顧者提供專業護理培訓、私人護理和第二醫學意見諮詢服務。「君譽醫療」透過向在家護理員(包括受照顧者的家人、外傭及其他照顧員 ) 傳授護理知識和技巧，讓客戶在家中獲得優質、個人化的護理及復康服務。
