【災後支援】應急錢發放情況
福利協會於11月26日當晚迅即推出聖公會心意行動1126火災支援基金募款平台，善款全數用作向受影響居民提供現金援助、實物支援，及災後引發的心理輔導服務、後事殯葬服務、哀傷支援，全面協助災民渡過難關。截至12月4日，福利協會已批核逾1,550戶大埔宏福苑受影響居民的應急錢申請，每戶5000元。

【Update on S.K.H. Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund】
The Welfare Council immediately launched the S.K.H. Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund Platform on Nov 26. All donations are being used to provide cash grants, essential supplies, post-disaster services such as psychological counselling and funeral services, to affected residents.
As of Dec 4, the Welfare Council has approved emergency fund applications for over 1,550 affected households from Wang F*k Court in Tai Po ($5,000 per household).

[Postponed] H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre - 52nd Annual Meeting

Regarding the fire accident in Tai Po, thousands of families have lost their homes. H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre expresses its condolences to the victims, standing alongside the families of the deceased, the disaster survivors, and the affected families. Our organization has immediately mobilized staff and resources to fully cooperate with the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council in providing on-site and post-disaster support, doing everything possible to assist the victims.

Therefore, the 52nd Annual Meeting scheduled for this Saturday (November 29), including the guest tea gathering and staff tea gathering, will be postponed. The new date will be announced later, and the organization will provide updates as soon as possible. Additionally, the "Health Together" carnival scheduled for the same day will be canceled. We sincerely apologize to all affected guests, partners, participants, volunteers, community members, and staff.

就大埔宏福苑火災災情，數以千計家庭痛失家園。香港聖公會麥理浩夫人中心向罹難者致哀，與遇難者家屬、災民及受影響家庭同行，本機構並已即時動員同工及資源全力配合香港聖公會福利協會展開災場及災後支援，全力幫助災民。

因此，原定於本週六（11月29日）之第五十二屆年會（包括嘉賓茶會及同工茶會）將會延期舉行，日期容後公布，機構將會盡快公布後續安排。原定同日舉行之《健康同行》嘉年華將會取消。謹向各位受影響之嘉賓、合作夥伴、參加者、義工、街坊及同工深表歉意。

A fire at Wang F*k Court in Tai Po has resulted in significant damage, with multiple casualties and thousands of residents displaced from their homes.

The Welfare Council has activated the S.K.H Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund fundraising platform to provide timely assistance. All donations received (with no administrative fees deducted) will be used to offer cash grants or essential supplies to affected individuals and families, helping them cover urgent needs such as daily necessities, medical costs, and temporary accommodation.

Following the fire incident, the Hong Kong Red Cross promptly activated its emergency response mechanism. In close coordination with government departments, it deployed local emergency service teams and first aid teams, along with volunteers, to three temporary shelter/assistance stations opened by the Tai Po District Office. These teams are providing material support and first aid services to offer immediate assistance to affected residents.

The Hong Kong Red Cross has also launched a psychological support hotline:
