Rosena Johnston Physiotherapy

I enjoy helping those who are serious about overcoming chronic aches & pains & working towards injury prevention. After training as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1994, Rosena completed her Masters Degree in Sports Injury & Therapy. For ten years she worked with some of the UK’s elite sportsmen and women (both able bodied and disabled) and she had the opportunity to treat active servicemen and women in Germany. The greatest highlight was Rosena’s appointment as part of the UK Athletics medical team for 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney. Rosena entered into Private Practice dividing her time between a variety of renowned clinics in London. During this period she trained in the Sarah Key method which focuses on the back and spine. This unique concept reduces treatment sessions through education and understanding reverting control back to the patients. As a result, Rosena practices a patient centered approach to back pain and is often the person who supports a motivated client when they want to avoid the surgical intervention. Rosena moved to Singapore in 2013 and worked as a Senior Principal Physiotherapist for a public hospital which supported the National Service Men and the talented sports men and women in The S.E.A. Games and those participating in sport in the East Coast. In 2019, Rosena moved into Private Practice once again and was focused on helping those in the CBD area and beyond, learn and understand more about their body and so make positive changes to reduce and eliminate ongoing pain. Rosena has now moved to Hong Kong and starts clinics on 1st June 2021 in Sai Kung in the New Territories working with Yann at the Australian Acupuncture & Sports Physio Clinic at 21 Po Tung Road.
