Biomedical Engineer / Assistant Biomedical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Compile working instructions for technical, calibration and maintenance services of medical equipment;
Ensure the installation, testing and commissioning of medical equipment is completed according to BME scope of practice;
Implement maintenance and servicing programs for medical equipment and ensure the compliance of
corresponding key performance indicators;
Monitor and evaluate the performance of external service contractors in the aspect of medical equipment repair and maintenance;
Formulate training and professional development for Assistant Biomedical Engineers;
Perform shift and/or on-call duties when required
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant working experience as engineering support for medical equipment
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Biomedical Engineer
Team player with excellent communication and coordination skills
