「大暑,乃炎熱之極也。」大暑是指全年溫度最高、陽氣最盛的時節,也是雷雨及颱風最頻繁的時候,在這個時節特別容易感受濕邪,濕疹也容易發作,此時養生之道著重清熱、利濕、解暑。

宜:
⭕適量食用清熱祛濕食物如冬瓜、薏米、赤小豆、粟米鬚等
⭕預防中暑由調理脾胃開始,每日飲一杯米水
⭕宜選擇清晨或傍晚時間進行戶外運動,揮灑汗水
⭕外出時要做足防曬措施

忌:
❌避免全日逗留冷氣房,因為出汗是身體調節體溫的方式
❌不宜進補,少喝雞湯或滋補湯水
❌忌吃辛辣及油膩食物
❌避免過度勞動

Major heat signifies the hottest time of the year and it is also the season of typhoons and thunderstorms. People are most suspectible to dampness pathogens and eczema is also prone to occur. So it is important to clear heat and promote diuresis.

What to Do:
- Appropriately consume winter melon, coix seeds, rice beans, corn silk to clear heat and dampness.
- To prevent heat strokes, you have to condition your spleen and stomach by having rice water daily.
- We can carry out outdoor activities during early morning or evening to induce perspiration.
- Protect ourselves against the sun when we are outdoors.

What NOT to Do:
- Do not spend the entire day in an air-conditioned space because we should sweat it out to regulate the temperature of our body.
- It is not suitable to eat too much tonic foods during this solar term and try to avoid chicken soup and other nourishing soup.
- Avoid spicy and greasy food.
- Avoid overwork.

中醫認為「肝開竅於目」,視力與肝血充足密切相關。若肝火偏旺或肝血虧虛,雙眼自然難以舒適明亮。

當身邊人罹患重病,我們也會跟着病倒嗎?
不少人在家人確診後,忽然變得特別敏感:
一點點流鼻血,就聯想到鼻咽癌;
偶然發現瘀青,就懷疑是白血病或皮膚癌。
日夜焦慮,自我觀察過度,反覆檢查身體,醫生說沒事,卻仍難以安心。

這不是脆弱,而是「心神失養」的表現。
當壓力與驚恐過大,心神難安,氣血運行失調,容易出現失眠、心悸、食慾減退、胸悶氣短等身心症狀。再加上過度專注身體細節,小病被放大、正常變異被誤判,久而久之,陷入疑病狀態。

疑病非假病,是心理與生理的交織反應

每次如廁後見到一抹鮮紅,卻不敢說出口,怕尷尬、怕被誤會。
但事實是,痔瘡從來不是少數人的問題。
長時間久坐、辛辣飲食、生活壓力,都可能讓這個「小肉球」偷偷找上門。

痔瘡是肛門靜脈瘀血所致的小肉球,根據位置分為內痔、外痔與混合痔。常見症狀包括:出血、腫痛、肛門下墜、異物感。
常見成因:
- 長期便秘、大便乾硬
- 長時間久坐久站
- 飲食辛辣、嗜酒
- 情緒鬱結或過勞
- 懷孕過程或自然分娩用錯力

中醫常見體質分型:
- 濕熱型:紅腫熱痛,肛門灼熱

「小暑大暑 上蒸下煮」,小暑是炎夏的開始,伴隨著間歇性的狂風驟雨,天氣讓人置身蒸爐一樣,走在街上要慎防中暑,要記住室溫水或熱飲也能解渴,不一定要喝凍飲啊!小暑時節宜少動多靜,注意勞逸結合多休息。

宜:
⭕適量食用有清熱消暑功效的食材,例如綠豆、薏米、椰青、荷葉等
⭕夏天難免多飲食生冷,多喝米水健脾胃
⭕流汗無可避免,擦點止汗劑吧
⭕出汗後要立即抹乾,慎防著涼

忌:
❌避免長時間進行戶外活動
❌再熱也不要對著冷氣風口或風扇狂吹
❌不適合做太多爆汗運動
❌不宜大喜大怒,夏天宜靜心

Minor Heat Solar Term
Minor heat solar term is the beginning of hot summer, accompanied by intermittent strong winds and showers. It is important to watch out for heat stroke. Remember room temperature water or hot drinks can also quench your thirst, you don’t have to drink cold drinks. During minor heat solar term, you should move less and engage in more static activity. Remember to take more rest.

What to Do:
- Ingredients like mung beans, coix seeds, coconut, lotus leaves, etc., all have heat-clearing properties which can dissipate the summer heat.
- You may eat too much cold/raw food and drink due to the heat. Remember to drink more rice water to strengthen spleen and stomach.
- You cannot avoid sweating, so apply some deodorant accordingly.
- Immediately wipe off your sweat, be careful not to catch a cold.

What NOT to Do:
- Avoid prolonged outdoor activities.
- Don’t sit next to air vents or fan even when it’s hot.
- Don’t do too much sweaty exercise.
- Don’t be too happy or too angry, it’s better to be calm in summer.
