"The doctor just gave me pain reliever and ointment...😫" Nurse Yan always heard that during the client's inquiries. In fact, such kind of medical intervention are common seen in A&E or GP clinics in Hong Kong. As per limited informations about chiro or spinal manipulations therapy, DHs have no choice to take those pain killer and then ongoing their work.
One of our clients who has been admitted into A&E last year regarding her severe shoulder pain and neck pain. It affected numbness fingers and headache also. After Xray done, the doctor consider as normal case so that just prescribed pain killer and ointment. Doctor also referred cleint to the physio-therapy and occupational-therapy in the following months but there was not any improvement after three times of therapy done.
First, Master assess the client's spine and joint conditions by spot hunting and the range of motion.
We located her cervical spine malposition problems which affect her numbness fingers and strained Erector Spinalis Muscle.
