The Municipality of Roatan, Bay Islands, has announced that starting January 2026, the use of jet skis will be prohibited in the West Bay and West End areas.

This measure aims to prioritize the safety of swimmers and visitors, better organize tourist areas, and protect the marine environment, helping reduce the risk of accidents in high-traffic swimming zones.
