BareFoot Chiropractic & Massage Drs. Adam & Sandy Elbaum are re-locating to Roatan after practicing in Chester, Virginia for 33 years Together they have 4 great kids.

Adam and Sandy met at Life Chiropractic College, now Life University, in Marietta, Georgia. That’s where they not only fell in love with each other but also with Chiropractic. They graduated in 1990 and moved to Chester, Virginia to open a practice. They have had over 30 years of successful practice together and are still in love with each other as well as Chiropractic. They have seen many miracle

s, from people who are carried into the office unable to walk and leave on their own two feet, to colicky babies able to stop crying and sleep. They are bringing their passion for Chiropractic here to Roatan. The eldest, April, is a Mom with 2 grown boys and is currently attending college with a goal of becoming an attorney. Brea is the first of their children together. She is following her dreams of music and natural health in a variety of ways. The 2 youngest, Dr. Abbi and Dr. Andrew, are currently practicing Chiropractic at the home office in Chester. Dr. Adam was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He comes from a large family of 6. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Florida and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He is an avid cyclist and has peddled his way from Maine to the Florida Keys. He has a passion for charity and is looking forward to helping the Roatan community. Dr. Sandy is originally from New York City and was raised primarily in North Carolina. She is also from a large family with 4 younger siblings. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Georgia State University for her undergraduate work. She has been involved in Chiropractic politics since the beginning of her career and has held multiple positions in the Virginia Society of Chiropractic and the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association including 2 terms as president. She currently serves the profession as a Board of Trustee member at Life University. She is a 2 time recipient of the Chiropractor of the Year award for Virginia. She is an avid poker player. Adam and Sandy look forward to serving you, your family and the Roatan community.

So, Y’all….Great news….I’ve changed Barefoot Chiropractic website….The address is still the same www.barefootchiropracticroatan.com…The reason I changed was to make it REALY easy for everyone to set up an appointment, whether new or existing. You can set up for your Chiropractic Adjustment with just a few key strokes. And it gets even easier for future appointments. For new patients, the site will direct you to fill out some light paperwork. Everyone can pick their own day and time. You can even set up weekly appointments, if you so desire. The ease and flexibility is way beyond. Y’all are gonna love this step towards the 21st century. We over-promise and then over-deliver. Health and Happiness.

I invite everyone to come to the office and meet my wife / partner / fellow Chiropractor, Sandy. She is on island for 10 days & can’t wait to ’get her hands on you’. We are both traveling back to our Alma mater for some continuing education classes on 10/1. Therefore, normal hours this week (9/23-27) and Monday ( 9/30). We will be closed Wednesday and Thursday of next week (10/1-2). Sorry for the inconvenience but getting “re-dipped” on a regular basis to keep up on the latest trends in Chiropractic, Health and Wellness is vital. See y’all this week.

These next 2 coming weeks (9/16-30) the office is open it’s normal times and days M, W & Th 8-12. I will be going back to the states for Continuing Education classes on 10/1-6. Also, a new website is being launched, hopefully, on Tuesday. This will allow you to set up your appointments, whether a new patient or existing, for your desired day and time with just a few clicks. Y’all are going to love the ease and flexibility. I’ll let you know when we go live, if there are no glitches. Keeping everyone in the loop about our schedule at BareFoot Chiropractic. I’m taking Labor Day week off ( 9/1-7) Thru the end of September. Otherwise than that, the days / hours are normal - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8-12 at the office in the (almost) West End. Just as a side note, I do see patients at my house, for those patients who feel the West End is too far to go (believe me, I understand). I live in Guaiabara Beach (just east of Coral Views). So we are finally settling in to a routine and trying to keep the office days / hours relatively stable. The entire month of August is the normal: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8-12. Wish I could say it was stable for the rest of the year but alas I have several more trips planned between now and the end of the year. So this week’s days / hours are normal (Wed & Thur 8-12) but next week (7/22-26), we will only be open Mon 7/22 as I’m going back to the states for the remainder of the week.
