Anna - The Yogi by the Sea Guiding you back to yourself 🌊
For when life feels overwhelming
Pause • Breathe • Come back

The Yogi by the Sea grew from a life shaped by teaching, yoga, travel, and parenthood. I’m an educator and yogi, parent of two young children, reflecting on a year of slow travel around the world as a family and on learning as a lifelong, embodied process that can only be experienced rather than simply intellectualized. My work weaves together pedagogy, nervous system care, recovery, and simple da

ily practices — from yoga, cold plunges, and forest jogging in minimalist shoes to music, mindful living, and education across cultures. I’m currently beginning a PhD in pedagogy, exploring further learning beyond classrooms and systems. Coming from a background marked by trauma and addiction, I’ve come to understand these experiences not as something to resist or erase, but as part of the path that has shaped my capacity for awareness, compassion, and healing. This space is inspired by teachers and thinkers who have guided me along the way — including Gabor Maté, Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chödrön, Ram Dass, Wayne Dyer, Bruce Lipton, and Joe Dispenza. If you’re drawn to growing beyond learning, yoga as a lifestyle beyond poses, and living with more presence and intention — you’re warmly welcome here 🌊

Is your mind playing tricks on you?

Same story.
Same trigger.
Same reaction loading…

“They always do this.”
“Here we go again.”
“I know how this ends.”

Pause.

This is the moment.

Not to react—
but to choose.

Breathe.

You’re not stuck.
You’re just used to the pattern.

And patterns… can change.

Sit with it. 🤍🌊

No one warns you about this part of healing…

When everything starts making sense —
and it suddenly feels… heavy.

You see the patterns.
The reactions.
The things you didn’t notice before.

And for a moment, you think
you have to fix it all… right now.

You don’t.

Some things are here to be understood,
not rushed.

If you’re in this phase…
this is your reminder:
you’re not behind —
you’re becoming. 🤍🌊

You say yes…
and regret it later.

Just to keep the peace.
Just to not disappoint.

But you can love people
and still choose yourself.

Come back to yourself.
What you really want —
not the conditioning,
not the people-pleasing.

You don’t have to abandon yourself anymore.

Save this 🤍

Is this what burnout sound like?

Maybe it’s not you…
maybe it’s just too much. 🤍🌊

Not everything is about you.

Some people are navigating storms
they don’t even know how to name yet.

You don’t have to take it on.

Stay in your energy. 🌊

18/04/2026

If your mind won’t stop racing…
this is your sign to pause.

Not everything needs your energy right now.

Come back to your breath.

You’re allowed to rest here. 🤍🌊

17/04/2026

Your body said no.
You said yes anyway.

That’s the pattern.

Not because you’re weak—
because you’ve been taught
to choose connection over yourself.

But you don’t have to anymore.

You can love people…
and still say no.

Save this for the next time you feel it. 🤍

16/04/2026

You know that feeling when someone makes your moment about them…

It’s subtle… but it stays with you.

So be the one who listens.
Who pauses.
Who makes people feel safe to be real.

That’s what they remember.

If this resonates… it’s because you’re not alone.
Sit with it. I’ll meet you here tomorrow. 🤍🌊

15/04/2026

Ever notice how some days feel heavier…
but not for you the same way?

Like everyone’s tense… reactive… on edge—
and you’re just sitting there thinking,
“why does this feel so loud?”

So dark. So heavy.

So you soften.
You breathe.
You choose not to add to it.

Not because it’s easy—
but because you can feel what it does to you when you don’t.

That’s the shift 🌬️✨

You’re not here to match the chaos.
You’re here to be the light in it.

And if this resonates…
you already know.

Save this for the days you forget. 🤍

♥️

14/04/2026

A snake bite won’t kill you… 🐍

But what you keep running through your mind might.

That moment you can’t let go of.
That thing they said.
That version of the story you keep replaying.

It feels justified.
But it’s exhausting.

And the truth is—
it’s not protecting you anymore…
it’s weighing you down.

You don’t have to carry it forever.

Peace isn’t about what they did.
It’s about what you choose to release.

If this resonates…
you’re not alone here 🤍

Save this for the moment you’re ready to let it go 🌬️✨

13/04/2026

It’s not bad luck.
It’s a pattern.

Same story. Different day.
Until you choose differently.

Until you’re ready… 👈
to choose differently.

What’s in the way
is the way 🌊

We need time to learn.

So be gentle with yourself.
Be kind to yourself.

If this resonates…
it’s because you’re not alone here.

Sit with it.
I’ll meet you here tomorrow 🤍

Autobiography in 5 Chapters, by Portia Nelson
Chapter 1

I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in. I am lost. I am helpless.
It isn’t my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

Chapter 2

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I still don’t see it. I fall in again.
I can’t believe I am in the same place. It isn’t my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter 3

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it there, I still fall in.
It’s habit. It’s my fault. I know where I am.
I get out immediately.

Chapter 4

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

Chapter 5

I walk down a different street.
