Are you looking for a perfect way to spend this summer? Would you like to join a summer school in Croatia, meet friends and colleagues from all over the world, learn about diving medicine and how to dive?

We are happy to share a project our Croatian colleagues are starting this year. It is a Diving Medicine Summer School, a similar project like we had, but with it's own special features.

I turned on Facebook today and on 'On this day' there was a memory from 4 years ago about a Summer School starting. So, I realised I can't postpone it anymore to write a goodbye letter.. I tried to do it for months. But I just couldn't get myself to finish it.
This summer school was something special. A project we made from our hearts, we had to fight to get it started in the beginning and then we had nothing but huuuge enthusiasm to make something great. I'm so grateful for so many things.. We (the organising committee) became best friends and godfathers/mothers, we made over 150 friends all over the world and memories for the lifetime.

Divers, J, Zlatko, Bruno, Cuki, Robach, Fani, Pero, Igor, Hrvoje, Natalija, Zoran,.. we came to you one day more then 7 years ago and said- we have this idea... and you were all so open, positive and helpful! J & Zlatko were the heart of this project and then all the other beautiful people I mentioned, and the names I forgot at this moment, who joined and spent summers with us.. you mean a lot to me.

After 6 years and 6 schools, we decided to close this project. It is because we all started with our medical careers in hospitals, we all started a family, some of us have little babies (future divers).. and it is just not something we can do with the same amount of energy anymore - and that's not the way we want to do it.

I will miss every day, every exercise, every party, every expression on the face of a participant after he finished with his first dive, every hangover boat excursion, every hug, every goodbye tears..

Thank you Kiki, Marija, Matea, Stjepan, Damir, Ida, Petra, Marta.. we worked hard and we partied hard and laughed even harder. We did it for a lifetime

Mental health coach will give our participants a lecture and individual consultations on topics such as how to cope with fear or stress during diving and relaxation during diving. So much looking forward to this :)
