We recently celebrated 5 (!!) years of our Clinic. And what a truly amazing ride it has been! 💫
The most important part of creating something that will last is building a group of people to work with. Trying to create a TEAM is not always an easy task but I feel privileged and honoured to work side by side with these incredible women! Not only do they perform their jobs at the highest possible level, but they are the most caring, honest, hardworking, loyal and funnies people you will ever meet! And also my friends. ❤️

I am extremely proud of what we have achieved together so far and can only hope we stay this strong for a long time ahead. 🥂

It was truly a pleasure to host and , two great plastic surgeons from UK, and have them join us at our Clinic last week. We had a busy schedule full of different types of breast surgeries, exchanging knowledge and remembering some good old times. Pip, Ana and I go way back, having been trainer together in plastic surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital in UK almost 10 years ago...so it's always a real privilege to have friends over for a visit! ❤️
We also had some fun at the Xmas markets! 🍷

Thank you so much for your visit, girls! It was amazing having you here in Zagreb, the whole team really enjoyed your company and you are always welcome to come back!

Tuberous breast is a congenital deformity that affects the development of the lower pole which remains constricted and usually comes together with significant volume asymmetry, low positioned "puffy" areolas and a wide cleavage.
When the condition is mild, most women don't even know they have it but rather consider their breasts odd shaped and more cone like than round, with ni***es positioned too low. But when severe, many different techniques need to be employed in reconstructing this type of breast deformity.
Usually, augmentation mastopexy with/out lipofilling and internal glandular reshaping (breast scoring or unfurling) needs to be performed all at once to correct this condition fully or the surgeries can be staged in two procedures.
Absolute symmetry doesn't exist...but isn't this pretty close? 🫵

Revision breast surgery can be VERY challenging and substantial expertise is essential to obtain an optimal result. It may be that the surgical plane needs to be modified or lipofilling added to the implant exchange in order to minimise visibility of the implant edges (called rippling). Sometimes, a mastopexy needs to be performed at the same instance if "waterfall deformity" develops with time. A capsulectomy is also a must in case of a severe capsular contraction, when implants are removed and are/not substituted for a new one.
At any rate, it is important to find a plastic surgeon who is not only capable but experienced enough to predict what the best options would be in each specific case.

This beautiful patient of mine was unhappy and uncomfortable with the result of her previous surgery (performed elsewhere) and came to me hoping for a more natural look and feel of her breasts.
After a total capsulectomy (of a double capsule on both sides) and recreation of the new pocket (no, we did NOT cut her muscle!), a more natural looking torso is achieved by adding much softer 215cc Ergonomix Demi , putting the ni***es in a better position with a mastopexy, while further narrowing the cleavage lines will be tackled as a second stage with lipofilling.

Please tell us what you think of her result at 3 months postop? 💜

Mini is the new black 🖤

Most of my patients come with the wish to create a more balanced silhouette rather than ask for big volumes. And I couldn't agree more with the concept because it gives you the most natural outcome and it respects your body proportion to maintain the most lasting result.
Check out that lower pole shape change! 😍
