The most beautiful part of our weekend retreats?
The women who gather.

This past retreat, dedicated to the energy of the *Liver* in Traditional Chinese Medicine, was more than movement and theory. It was a circle of strength, softness, release, and renewal.

Different ages.
Different cultural backgrounds.
Different life stories.

Yet when we moved through Qigong together — breathing, stretching, opening the sides of the body, freeing the flow of Liver Qi — we were one.

We released stored tension.
We allowed emotions to move.
We created space for new vision.

There is something profoundly powerful about women gathering to heal — not competing, not comparing, but supporting and witnessing one another. No matter where we are in our lives — beginning, transforming, rebuilding, flourishing — we share the same life force moving through us.

🌿 What a wonderful retreat!

A magical weekend dedicated to strengthening the kidneys and embracing the energy of winter through Qigong.

We practiced Qigong for bone health (kidneys and bones are intrinsically connected in Qigong practice), explored the energies and meaning of the kidneys in TCM, and enjoyed a masterclass on essential oils and moxa.

Two days long, all about nourishment — gentle movement, deep restoration, and delicious meals made from local, seasonal ingredients following Traditional Chinese Medicine wisdom.

And yes, we happily accepted the hosts’ invitation to taste their organic white wine — a beautiful way to celebrate connection, nature, and vitality. 🍷

All this to nourish Kidney Yin, strengthen Kidney Yang, and recharge your energy to thrive through winter.

What a weekend! 💜☯️
Two days of an intense and transformative workshop with Master Mantak Chia — a living legend and one of the world’s foremost Taoist teachers, known for bringing ancient Taoist wisdom into modern life.

We dove deep into the mysteries and complexity of the female body — exploring the sacred intelligence of our hormones, glands, breast tissue, ovaries, uterus, and sexuality.

The female body is a universe. And Taoism, the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has held this knowledge for thousands of years — understanding the flow of energy, emotions, and Qi within us long before modern science could name it.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is the season of the Metal element, which governs the lungs and large intestine.

Together, these organs teach us the cycle of receiving and releasing—the lungs draw in pure qi from the breath, while the large intestine lets go of what no longer serves the body.

When Metal energy is balanced, we feel clear, strong, and connected. When it is weakened, we may experience grief, rigidity, shallow breathing, or issues with elimination.

The Tiger form (from White Tiger Qigong) strengthens the lungs and respiratory system, improving breathing capacity and oxygen circulation.

Its dynamic movements:
✔️expand the chest,
✔️release tension from the shoulders and spine, ✔️energize the tendons and fascia.

By enhancing lung function, the form supports immunity, boosts vitality, and helps the body adapt to the seasonal changes of autumn.
