Interreg IPA Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro Interreg IPA Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro

Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 is a trilateral programme implemented during financial period 2014-2020. The overall aim of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 is to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the programme area through the implementation of joint projects and activities in the areas of health and social care, environment protection and sustainable energy, development of sustainable tourism, cultural an natural heritage and strengthening of competitiveness and business environment. The overall budget of the Programme for period 2014-2020 is 67,241,552 EUR out of which 57,155,316 EUR represents EU co-funding (85%) and 10,086,236 EUR represents national co-funding (15%). The programme area includes 12 counties in Croatia, Brčko District and 109 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 10 municipalities in Montenegro.

ANNOUNCEMENT Hackathon “My Smart City 2025” in Zadar!

With the aim of strengthening the IT sector in the cross-border area, the City of Zadar, in cooperation with the INTERA Technology Park Mostar, the Inovaciono preduzetnički centar Tehnopolis, BIT Centar Tuzla and the University of Zadar, is organizing the hackathon “My Smart City 2025”, which will be held on December 2–3 in Zadar.

✅ Hackathon is a marathon-style competition in which teams develop innovative solutions – mobile applications, websites, or concept ideas

✅ The hackathon is intended for high school pupils and university students, and the topics will remain secret until the start of the event

A handover of a specialized vehicle for the collection of sorted waste intended for recycling was held at the recycling yard in Mostar.

CLEANER WATER FOR KONAVLE, HERCEG NOVI AND TREBINJE :)

As part of the “Waterlink” project, a laboratory essential for water quality control for the Municipality of Konavle and Konavosko komunalno društvo has been procured and was opened.

💦 The laboratory has been installed within the water treatment plant building in Molunat and will significantly contribute to the main objective of the project, which is to improve the management of the water supply system in terms of water quality control and reduction of losses in the cross-border water supply system.

MUSEUMS IN THE SEA 🌊🌊🌊

Those interested in underwater archaeology and the preservation of cultural heritage have the opportunity to watch the documentary film “The Explorer: Museums in the Sea,” which was recently broadcast on the national public service, Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).

🎥 The film was produced with the support of the Institute for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies of the University of Montenegro and highlights the contribution of the Interreg project Wrecks4All.

☝ The central theme of the documentary is the digitization of underwater cultural heritage and the development of underwater cultural tourism, with special attention given to the legacy and achievements of the Interreg project Wrecks4All.

THE KIDS IN BIHAĆ WERE THRILLED WITH THE GREEN WORKSHOP :) ♻

As part of the RECIRCLE project, first educational workshops were successfully held in Bihać for students of “Harmani II” Primary School.

✅ The workshops focused on sustainable waste management, waste separation, recycling, and reuse, providing children with an interactive learning experience that raises awareness about nature conservation and responsible waste handling.
