Dear Students of the English Program,
Dear Student Representative,

Thank you for your mail.
The University has examined your complaint and request. We acknowledge that there is a contradiction between the University’s Code of Studies and Examination Requirements and the Code of Student Remunerations and Fees. In response, the University will introduce the new regulation from the first semester of the 2025/26 academic year. A refund will be issued to those who have already paid the fee.

We also agree upon your request for greater representation of the international students in decision-making processes. Since all decisions regarding to students and education are first reviewed by the Education Committee, an international student representative is welcome to be delegated to this Committee.

Hi everyone! We have previously received complaints from you all about the lack of study spaces and potentially bringing back the study room and/or providing more seats and tables in the student center. We have reached out to the university about this but unfortunately got the response that neither will be possible.

For the student center, due to fire safety regulations, it is not possible to increase the number of seats and tables. As for the old study room, skills lab is still on and using the room, and as you all know some clinical day classes are held in there. We are sorry that we could not do more for these issues.

As the first round of complaints were sent in and dealt with, we will soon move on to forwarding the other complaints sent to us. Thank you all for your patience!

Anything filed through here will be forwarded to the respective department/secretariat by us, and we will try and get back to you as soon as we get responses with (hopefully successful and positive) updates. We also intend to set out the plans for the next academic year and hopefully come up with some new ideas. So if you want to plan events, get involved in sales, and help create a better atmosphere at the university, please join us in the student center if you're interested!
