🎉 Celebrating Excellence at McDaniel College Budapest! 🎓

For the first time this year, two of our former Pre-Med students were honored with Professor Andor Szécsény Award and Professor Attila Fonyó Award at Semmelweis University.

These awards, created by College International / McDaniel College Budapest recognize international students who have completed the English or German Pre-Medical Track programs at us and demonstrated outstanding academic achievement during their first year at Semmelweis.

McDaniel College Budapest Pre-Med Alumni at the Semmelweis Alumni International Reunion Event 🌎🩺

What an incredible weekend! Over 200 alumni came together to celebrate and share their professional journey, and remember the good old student years.

From an insightful roundtable discussion at McDaniel College Budapest to campus walks at Semmelweis University, city tours, the gala night at the beautiful EOK building, and the fantastic lunch and cruise on the Danube river, the weekend was packed with meaningful meetings.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared their memories. See you again in 2027!

Another inspiring Alumni Day was held at the Pre-Med program of McDaniel College Budapest, that brought together present Pre-Med students and Semmelweis University students. They shared their experience about different possibilities at the university.

The presentations were about various topics, including opportunities in research through the Student Scientific Circles (TDK), the enriching mentorship program, the innovative dual program offering both medicine and PhD tracks simultaneously, roles as teaching assistants, the integration of AI in medical practices, and effective study techniques.

Thank you Falak Sayeeda, Thomas Charles Champion, Basak Danisan, Shahar Adar, Jianning Yang, Eden Friedman and Åsa Gremsperger for their valuable contributions to the event.

Since 1990 Pre-University programs have been organized to help students who require additional instruction or review in the required subjects and in English language to prepare them to take the entrance examinations for the regular Degree Programs of medical universities.

There Are Two Types of Program

Two-semester Pre-Medical Track:
