Our Pre-Vet students had an exciting visit to the nearby University of Veterinary Sciences! 🐾🏫
During the trip, they learned more about the university, explored different parts of the campus, and gained valuable insight into what studying veterinary medicine can look like. 🩺🐶

A great opportunity to experience the world of veterinary science up close and get inspired for the future! ✨📚

And future doctors are on the move... again! 🩺✨ Our Pre-Med students spent an inspiring day in Szeged visiting the University of Szeged - Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School. From exploring the university campus and learning about medical studies, to sharing lunch together and enjoying a beautiful walk through the city — it was a day full of discovery, motivation, and great memories. 🤩

Who knows… maybe some of these students will be studying here in the future! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Our incredible Pre-Med students had an unforgettable day in Pécs 🇭🇺🌍! They explored the inspiring campus of the renowned University of Pécs 🎓📚, getting a closer look at where their medical dreams could take shape 🏥🔬🧠

After that, it was time to soak in the magic of the historic city center 🏛️ — cobblestone streets, stunning architecture, and lots of laughter along the way 😄📸

In Memoriam: János Gulyás (1958–2026)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our former colleague, János Gulyás, at the age of 68.

Professor Gulyás – best known by friends and colleagues as “Gulyó" – was a defining member of the McDaniel College Budapest Pre-Medical Track and a dedicated educator who taught physics and mathematics with unwavering commitment over many decades. His professionalism, passion for teaching, and supportive approach left a lasting impression on students and colleagues alike.

✨ Researchers’ Night at Semmelweis University 🌍🧪

Some of our outstanding Pre-Med students – who achieved excellent results in the semester closing exams – were invited for a special academic visit to Semmelweis University, Department of Biochemistry 🇭🇺🔬

Hosted by Prof. Christos Chinopoulos MD, PhD, DSc – Associate Professor, leader of the Tumor Metabolism Research Group, and a proud former Pre-Med student (1991–92) – students explored the general labs, microscopy room, cutting-edge research facilities (RPPA), and animal house facilities. An inspiring behind-the-scenes look at real biomedical research and where dedication can take you! 🚀🧠
