Lots of brain 🧠 food daily. Certainly helps in our mood and how we feel. So easy to make and so easy to eat nutritionally deficit as well foods if we allow ourselves (the choice might be ours). Best to try eating healthy with lots of water 💧,movement (being physical or exercise), along with taking care of your emotional state and see what that does for you. …why not just give it a try if you are able.

The Push Up Challenge

HEALTHY BRAIN 🧠 TIP

🔴 🔴 🔴 🔴 PLANNING VS PROCRASTINATING 🔴 🔴 🔴 🔴

“Early early bird gets the worm,” have you heard that saying before?

Get up, Get at it, Get moving a PLANNER embraces that.
In turn often the following comes with it:

📌 ✅ stress
📌 ✅ anxiety
📌 overall happiness
📌 ✅ health / life outcomes
📌 ⬇️ positive emotional, etc.

The opposite side of the coin might say something like this:

Do it tomorrow, Do it later, Will get to it whenever.

Often that mindset/thinking bring with it:

🛑 ⬆️ stress
🛑 ⬆️ anxiety
🛑 ⬇️ overall happiness
🛑 ⬇️ health / life outcomes
🛑 ⬇️ positive emotional, etc.

Value of Planning

✅ stronger family relationships
⬆️ self-time
⬆️ social life time
⬆️ financially security

Career Procrastination

Can be a self-defeating behavior pattern. It can absolutely psychologically enhance one's mood short-term. Isn’t it better to be more sustained having more?
Why even try if you think you will fail, so don’t even try or do it. Can’t fail if you postpone or don’t do something, right? …no risk one may have fault sense of feeling safe & secure.

STRATEGY
✅ bite size, taking smaller pieces over time / task then does not seem so big

✅ perhaps keeping your perfectionist attitude in some check. Still be great!

✅ positive self talk - support yourself, be positive, avoid negative thoughts about you and whatever others might say or think after all we have no control over that.

✅ ok to reward yourself when you are doing things and or complete a task or activity plus the brain 🧠 likes that.

✅ set or try priorities

A natural part of all individual’s lives is the behavioral state of sleep. On average most humans spend about thirty-three percent or one third of their lives sleeping. Until recently (over the last 10 years) many individuals were unaware of the importance of sleep. Sleep is essential, it is not an option or something merely only for filling in the time. Today there is still no definitive reason why we need sleep. Some reasons might be and not limited to:
*Restorative and replenishment of the orgasism
*A mechanism where we are able to unconsciously workout problems. Ever go to sleep with an unsolved puzzle only to find the answer comes to you in your dream?
*Reduce disease risk
It is clear that generally we recognize and also feel the desire to sleep.
A good night's sleep, a good rest and a good nap. We recognize the positive effects it has on our well being, our mood, and we feel refreshed and alert. It does appear that our survival sleep is required.
Various disorders can interfere little, medium or large with our sleep thus can lead to disturbed MENTAL HEALTH.
📍 Sleep apnea
📍 Nightmares
📍 PTSD
📍 Insomnia
📍 Sleep deprivation
📍 Headaches
📍 Moodiness
📍 Poor concentration
📍 Fatigue/tiredness
📍 Malaise
If you are having difficulties sleeping interfering with your daily activity of living here are some methods which may help.
⭐️ Changing you schedule
⭐️ Yoga / meditation / mindfulness
⭐️ Breathing method 4-7-8
⭐️ Diet
⭐️ Exercise
⭐️ Lower room temperature
⭐️ Avoid naps / avoiding naps after 16h00
⭐️ Avoid picking up your smart phone or device

HEALTHY BRAIN 🧠 TIP

“WORDS MATTER”

Words Are Powerful

How we choose to use our words is important. We (often) do not know what people are actually dealing with and or going through in life.

WHAT WE SAY, HOW WE SAY THINGS MATTER

Unbeknown to us we might encounter a person who is dealing with mental health and we could be the difference between helping or not helping that person.

A number of people with mental health will receive treatment and recover. A number of people will simply
learn to live with their condition.

Mental health is often not a sensational case. Unfortunately all too often it seems to be reported that way and focused on in mainstream media. Media is a crucial medium in advancing and understanding mental illness and also substance disorders. Stigma can be ⬇️ how stories are told while ⬆️ awareness.

Engaging and or writing about mental health, stigmas can be reduced with first dealing with the person, not their condition. Unfortunately there are lots of ignorance, misconceptions and myths attached with mental health.

When dealing with others in general let’s choose our words carefully. Here are a few suggestions:

📌 be kind
📌 be thoughtful
📌 be understanding
📌 be patient
📌 give space (allow, invite, welcome)

🧠MENTAL 🧠 HEALTH 🧠

The push ups daily up challenge 🌀🌀🌀

HEALTHY BRAIN 🧠 TIP

Freeing tension from our minds 🧠 that is the meaning of the word, “mantra.” Mantra originates from Sanskrit. “Om” is a power saying used often in yoga practice.

The global Covid-19 pandemic started, many people's anxiety and stress level for various reasons went up; some extremely high and dangerous. As used often in the sports world, positive self talk and or routine mantra, mantra meditation has been employed as a powerful relaxation technique.

Most people who have experienced anxiety are aware it can be very overwhelming. The mental aspect is already difficult enough and often it is accompanied by physical symptoms that can be quite disruptive to our daily activity of life. If anxiety becomes too high encroaching on one's daily life then it is time to seek professional help. Relaxation techniques are one method of decreasing anxiety-related symptoms.

Saying words out loud, affirmations, sounds which have a calming effect. It can be associated with spiritualism (religious & non), yoga and mantras used daily to aid relaxation.

I can, I will

I allow myself

I am great

I am ❤️

I accept what I’m able

I’m at peace, etc.

Those are some examples of affirmation that can be said out loud daily to help calm us. Studies support mantras positively affect our mood and our brain.

Why not give mantra a try daily for the next 10-20 days and determine how you feel.
I would love to hear from you.
