It is our pleasure to announce that the CLIMATEMED Project's outputs are now available on the project website: www.climatemed.eu.
The materials are available for free download in four languages: English, Hungarian, Romanian, and Serbian!

During the 7th International Scientific Conference “Contemporary Kinesiology: Active Lifestyle”, which was held from July 18–20, 2024 in organization by Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, Split, Croatia, CHESS team members, Ass. Prof. Darinka Korovljev, and a PhD student Marijana Ranisavljev, presented the results of the Climatemed project. The abstract titled “Climate Change and Health –Evaluation of Curriculum” has now been published in the Proceedings Book of the Conference.

Our project's newest online conference on 28th November was a success, thanks to our fantastic speakers and almost 100 listeners! The presentations will soon be available in video format.

In cooperation with our Project, the Preventive Medicine Working Group, the Environmental Health Working Group and the Balneology Working Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Regional Comittee in Pécs will hold an International Conference On ’HEALTH AND SOCIETY’, on the 28th November 2024. The 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), currently held in Baku, Azerbaijan, is focusing on accelerating action and finance to combat the escalating climate crisis. A significant part of the summit's agenda involves securing commitments to fund climate resilience and adaptation in vulnerable regions, in harmony with our project objectives, which also include raising awareness and educating health workers and students about the health impacts of climate change and how to adapt to them.
