Considering this demand, the implementation is planned on an area of outstanding natural conditions (e.g. thermal water), in the village of Szár, which is 45 kms from the capital. Apart from the artificial limbs that function with bioenergy (artificial leg, artificial arm), the artificial eye, dental and hearing aids implantation is feasible, moreover, on a lower price than in our neighbouring cou
ntries. One of the pillars of these implementations is the appropriate professional staff whom we have already negotitated successfully. It is important to us that the most modern techniques would be used at our clients, hence a research team would join the project. The justification of the investment is indicated by many countries’ insurance companies that would use our services for their members. At the negotiations on investment, a need arose to develop a care home. Due to the thermal water and the rehabilitation activities in the area, it seemed sensible to develop a spa with a hotel. We follow a nature-conscious approach, therefore the buildings would be self-sustaining, acting in harmony with nature. The aim of the Savol Wellness and Rehabilitation Centre is to establish a Europe-standard holiday park, close to Szár on a 22.000 m2 area, which would include a 5-star, 428-room wellness hotel, spa section, rehabilitation institution, prosthesis manufacture and research centre, apartments and care home. These facilities would form the holiday centre which could affect the tourism and economical life in the area. A complex service would be provided for the guests which is unique in the area. In accordance with the exclusive quality facilities, high standard service would be provided. These types of facilities are not well-known yet, neither in Hungary nor in the neighbouring countries. Special attention was paid when harmonizing the different areas (holiday people, rehabilitation section, care home). Buildings form a territorial unit construction, they are transparent, yet separable, e.g. the care home and the rehabilitation institution should be separated from the guests of the hotel and the holiday village. However, those guests who arrive to use the rehabilitation services, can access the hospital as well, and those who live in the holiday village, could use the wellness hotel services. The complex building site, which is based on four basic pillars (wellness hotel, care home, rehabilitation centre and holiday village), would cover a broad segment from the tourism to the patient care area. Most of our guests are expected from abroad, as a result of the high-standard hotels and medical services.
